Interesting about what pavi has to say. You see this question is vital in helping us understand hairloss.
we know that long term hairloss leads to peri follicular fibrosis. We know they discovered inflammation in the follicle in studies of Androgenetic Alopecia. We know Androgenetic Alopecia patients have reduced blood flow.
what we dont know is if the blood flow issues is the start or the result of the problem
We know that not all Vasodilators grow hair. But specifically a few potassium channel openers.
know if minoxidil will at least maintain hair permannetly for as long as u use it correctly would tell us something really important. It would tell us that minoxidil only grows hair but it stops the perifollicular fibrosis which would mean its the best treatment there is.
But if minoxidil eventually loses its effectiveness then perhaps its only putting a bandaid on the issue
