Does Saw Palmetto Work? (i'm 17, Can't Start finasteride)

Hello! Does anyone know if saw palmetto works as a DHT blocker? I'm 17 and I've been told that finasteride is a bit too early. However, I'm starting to have temple recession. Does anyone know if it works, at least until I can take finasteride?

U seem like norwood 2, i wont recommend taking finasteride but yeah that would work

Well, I better keep it Norwood 2 (btw I have a widow's peak i was born with, I can see it in really young pictures of myself), instead of plunging down that Norwood scale. Dad is a Norwood 4A, so... you know... Thanks for the confirmation!
