No. I still have to do some more research on transplants. It hasn't been a focus of mine since it wasn't really an option for me until recently.
If I'm not mistaken, all the results on Zarev's website are with scalp donor only.
Except this one, where he seems to have good results with chest hair (6050 grafts!): https://www.instagram.com/p/B0-3IjlHsUJ/. He can probably do well with beard donor too.
If you replace harvesting from the NW7 area with using beard and chest hair, and you're okay with having short hair (due to the use of chest hair), this might be a cure without using finasteride or worrying about hairs harvested from the NW7 area falling out?
here are someWish he'd share some pics of patients with lighter hair. I have medium brown hair and medium thickness but all these results basically just show people with dark brown or black hair. I did see he replied to a comment on Instagram and said he has had patients with lighter hair, but hasn't seemed to share any of them this far.
Jesus, speaking of insane results. Hundreds of them. Just came accros this. Anybody heard of them?

Note. See my profile, this is my first post on hairtransplants. Never researched them before.
Dr Zarev said:“I have never sought out loud popularity through the operations I perform classified as FUE Super Giga Sessions. Such operations are only part of my practice. I would also like to clarify that the self-serving, ill-considered and unjustified pursuit of operations with such a volume can be extremely dangerous and harm patients irreversibly. For the past few months, I have received daily inquiries from patients wishing for such an operation. For most of them, even from the low-quality photos they send, it is clear that they do not have enough resources in donor areas for an operation of this size.
The planning of operations with such a volume can be done only through personal consultation and precise and in-depth analysis of the donor and recipient areas. It is also extremely important to predict future losses, in cases where the baldness process is still in progress. I hope that the results I am showing do not give rise to vain hopes in many patients from which unscrupulous practices will take advantage of. Such scenarios can only lead to a lot of frustration. The operations I have performed in excess of 10,000 grafts are a result of in-depth preliminary analysis, meticulous execution and of course extraction technology, outside the general standards.
At the upcoming GHLS 2020 virtual conference, I will show a detailed video of one of my two-day operations. The video shows all stages of a patient’s first operation, in which the surgical plan includes the transplantation of a total of 11,500 grafts. And I want to clarify that in my practice, nurses do not have direct contact with the patient during the operation. I always perform personally all manipulations on the scalp, both in the process of extraction and in the process of implantation.”
Do you think he's photoshopping/doctoring photos?
Just because you have seen certain types of FUE scars from other doctors, why would you expect that to be the only possible outcome?
Why do you think one "must" have visible scarring/cratering in the donor area?
Many people at one point thought that FUT "must" be done, and that it was the only viable approach. Dealing with absolutes like this, especially in science and technology, is a nebulous rock to stand on.
Either he is lying, or the novel tools and methodology he is employing allow him to obtain a different result than the doctors who do not use such tools and methods.
If he is lying, that would be a pretty elaborate lie and conspiracy to peddle, especially at a conference amongst other surgeons who could easily call him out if they suspected as much.
Nevertheless, I agree that more patient accounts via online forums or other mediums are needed.
I didnt say scarring, i mean the doner hair being depleted, this is not something that we can get around. Unfortunetly the hairloss industry is mostly based around lies and so yeah you see them left right and centre I dont believe its legitimate if its been out for a while, everyone is looking for the best surgeons out there and just happened to have missed the magical man who can take double the amount of grafts as everyone else but have the doner not look one bit thinner then before it was taken out... its sadly just not possible!
It's real. Apparently a lot of FUE surgeons are able to match FUT survival rates now. This particular one does that, and goes outside of the safe zone when selecting grafts. If you read the whole thread you'd know that. As with any surgeon you get the best results if you have thick and dense, dark hair in your donor region. Light skin is also optimal for minimizing the appearance of scarring.
Can you show your donor? He answered my email. Said that looking at my pictures, I have enough donor to achieve full visual density. I'm Norwood 5 right now...
