how did you get into all of this?

Been into anarcho capitalism since like 2010. Knew about it for years but out of laziness just kept putting it off buying + after Mtgox crash it stopped for a while. Only noticed in late 2016 that the run was restarting.

I bought it at $225 in 2014
That was the best thing to do. Buying at a lower price in the recent past may sometimes work out to your advantage in the near or far off future.
Hope it goes well.

Once I graduate I plan on drowning my sorrow by blowing all my money on vintage guitar gear.

I think I will but I need some of your advice before I invest.
If I win some cash on this football game tonight (U.S. time) I may invest $50.

I have a pretty sweet collection

2000s Gibson ES355
2012 Gibson SG in cherry
Custom warmoth parts guitar
1995 Japanese Fender Jaguar
1990s Japanese Fender Jazz Bass
2000s Martin D-35

Amps

2000s Vox AC30 handwired
1960s Fender Deluxe Reverb

Wish I was in a band though. The bands in my state f*****g suck and no one I know is into good music or knows how to write good music.

Mirin' I was trying to get an old Twin Reverb and some sort of Jazzmaster. I have an American Standard Telecaster as my main guitar that I play into a Mesa Boogie Mark V and a sh*t load of pedals.

The Mark V is a really nice amp I just don't use like half of the sh*t that it offers. I just need a nice loud clean sound with some slight dirt, I don't play anything heavy.

I used to have a Mark V but sold it. I should have got the Dual rec. Deluxe reverb or Twin probably perfect for what you want then. Jazzmasters are awesome, as are teles.

Why did you sell your Mark V if you don't mind me asking?

Didn't use it enough and was going to buy a dual rec with the money but never got around to it. Ended up buying the deluxe reverb after. Very good all-rounder amp and so customisable but nothing "special" or specific like an Ac30 or deluxe. Also I don't enjoy the tweaking that it requires and offers, I like my amps straightforward and specific sounding then can tweak with pedals.

Ahhh I feel ya, I feel ya. I literally only use the "Fat" mode on channel 1 lmao.

I have a Martin acoustic and a Fender 5 string deluxe Jazz Bass (American made), i love guitars but can't play for sh*t

Sounded pretty good in that clip you posted. I'm a very solid player but really wish I could sing or write better.

Bass is my favourite sounding instrument and my body naturally responds to the groove of the baseline in most songs.
It's a pity bass playing is so underrated.

It's the earthy foundation of any song or dance track so I usually struggle to listen to any music recorded with a weak-*** bottom-end sound.
