Dutasteride Shedding After Only One Week?

If people notice a weird shedding after add 2 dutas a week to their finasteride regimen, you can imagine if you start taking it every day.......

But with the amount of hair I lose I wont have any left in 7 months. f*** this, I never thought I would shed at all, never have on Fina or even minoxidil (though hadn't any regrowth either).

How is your hair, brah, I thought you're already seeing regrowth?

Have you quit minoxidil recently ?

I read also in spanish forum people losing ground the first 3 months but after a point it stopped and hairs start coming back more thick.

I have done a loading dose 1,5mg first ten days, wich speed results and havent wait 4 long months.
However i had frontal thinning and temples destroyed. But i also see new dark hairs in the hairline. Now the shedding seems to be stopped and i have some areas more thicker and healthy.

No, didn't stop minoxidil.

Haven't done loading. Thats why it makes no sense that the shed came so early.

But you staarted taking it every day. Its a big change.
Its impossible that duta can worse your mbp. I know its difficult, but dont be paranoid just take your pill and be patient . After 6 months you will can make some conclusions.

Well, I thought that hair needs 2 months to react to a certain change, because it first enters a resting phase. So how can I shed on Duta right away?

Also, I'm not sure, but I thing I'm shedding more from top and back rather than the front. I have diffuse hair loss all over the top, but front is where it is worst.

I do hope it stops anytime soon, because t this rate I can pull out easily 100 hairs a day if not more.

I agree that stopping dutasteride right now is the worst thing you can do. Whether this shed is your own hair thinning, from dutasteride, or both, dutasteride is the best thing to regrow them. If you're pulling hairs/running hands thru it to see how many you get, stop. It won't help your hair or your mind

there are lot of people starting duta noticing shed the first 3 months. also minoxidil shedding start after 2/3 weeks.

I'm still shedding loads. Every time I run my hand through my hair I can pull out loads of hair. Like 5 or more.

What am I to do? I don't know where this is coming from. I'm on dutasteride only since the 2nd of May and noticed shedding right after. So it can't be dutasteride, right? But what is it then? This is getting me anxious, to say the least.

What else are you on? Just Dutasteride?

Still taking 1,25mg finasteride ED. Also minoxidil mixed with Ru since November but haven't seen any benefit from it.

I was a great finasteride responder for over a decade, hair loss stopped and hair thickened, but since last year it all went to sh*t all of a sudden.

I think the shed has subsided a bit. When I go through my hair I don't pull out as much hair anymore.

I still lose hair though. A lot are short or thin hairs.

Thing is I never lost much hair the last 12 months yet my hair looks way worse. I really hope dutasteride can thicken things up. Am on it for 6 weeks so far nothing. Hope it will do something.

However that doesn't mean that hairloss is stopped since I never really shed the last yet and lost a lot of hair.

I'm also only 7 weeks on Duta, so the real shedding could be still to come?

Hopefully it stops the hairloss soon and thickens up.

It is currently max 30 hairs a day, just back to before i started treatment. Turned back around week 7 as RLF mentioned.

Im 2,5 months in, i have high libido, anyone experience the same?

Yeah same for me can't complain though
