Probably but one is usually the outcome of the other. You don't just go outside and socialize if you couldn't make it even being forced to spend time among people(school). It takes skills just like any other thing in life. Acuiring those skills at such an old age is extremely difficult since most people look at you like you're some kind of a freak.
