What??! Fat can and does destroys looks. That coupled with old age can turn a model into an ugly person. How can you deny it?? Even good looking people like Ryan Gosling became below average when they gained fat.

When did Ryan Gosling get fat?

Aside from our skin aging and loosing elasticity, fat is the number one destroyer of facial aesthetics.

If your jawline is not fully exposed and you have a pouch under your chin. Your fat with high body fat

I hear what you guys are saying here regarding fat. I am really so tired of hearing people bitching about things that they can control and change. If jogging and not eating like sh*t could cure my hair loss, I'd shoot a load from here to New Jersey right now. But there is no such cure for us hair loss sufferers, especially if you hair loss is progressive or finasteride gives you terrible side effects (or just simply doesn't work). And much worse off, people suffering from diseases like cancer cannot control their fates for the most part. I knew a beautiful, sweet girl who died way too young from cancer, something that she obviously couldn't control. If the least of some one's problems is something that they can change on their own, then they've got it pretty damn good.

I was actually watching Intervention on A&E tonight and I really envied those people. It's the same old scenario. They show the guy strung out or sh*tfaced, they show how he's f*cking up his life and his families' lives, they stage the intervention where everyone cries for him to get better, he cries and agrees to go to rehab, and then they show like 3 months later where he is grinning like Howdy Doody and everyone's happier than a dog with 2 d*cks.

These people on Intervention, just like fat people, have a clear cut solution to their problems that they could take it they chose to do so. Their problems are fixable and contain solutions.

Think OP should be on slybaldguys. Sorry Marco, was hoping you would be a realist after our pm convo many months ago where we had a frank discussion on why you say such things. You changed but now you're back at it.

If you truly did not care for hair loss you wouldn't:

-Join a hair loss forum
-Book a last minute flight to go and see a Belgian surgeon to assess your donor hair
-Take finasteride
-Take minoxidil

Fact is, you lost all your hair and didn't treat it for whatever reason, now feel insecure and engage in coping mechanisms. I didn't want to call you out on this but I see so many BS posts from you even though I am not often on this site anymore. People would respect you more if you didn't bury your head in the sand and engaged in real talk.

But male pattern baldness is pretty common, every office I worked in have a handful of fellow baldies, I high five them as I walk past...
.
This one is particular touching.

Sorry the thread was a joke,. Thought it was obvious no? I am not coping btw I would pay money to have hair back but as it doesn't effect my looks that much or love life it's lower priority. Apologies to those who were insulted by the thread.

Ok I was trolling a bit sorry. Of course I would like to have hair but just like to make the point its not the end for everyone.

I thought this thread was some sort of weird joke, but now it's become clear that it's an actual attempt at making himself feel better, which is absolutely ridiculous.

No I am happy, it was just a joke. But if jokes aren't allowed here then I'l. keep it serious from now on.

Yeah I did initially assume it was a joke, the "Philosophical thread!" at the end made me sure of it, but other people and the context they view your posts changed my opinion.

I believe you, for what that's worth, not sure if other people will. But this does seem intentionally satirical:

Everyone ends up bald, no human that has ever existed or will exist will keep any of their hair. Some people just lose it quicker. Philosophical thread!

You can ask 100 girls and the most of them will say : He is f*****g hot.

Its the charisma baby ;)

IMPLYING charisma is something different from nature handsomeness

OR

Yes he enchanted his "charismatic" face and NW1.5 in gym (do you even lift bro??)

And of course he PUMPED his facial muscles to build this "charismatic" facial expression.

He WORKED out on his eyes to build this glance.

...

just be confident and get "charisma"

He is jewish, rich and old hollywood, of course he gets laid.

He probably also laid the pipe well in his prime to his target demographic (rough violent man who beats women, makes insecure loser females with low self worth extra wet).

This is just a thought out of left field and maybe irrational because this extremely disgusting Northeast heat is frying my brain. Wouldn't it be funny if the reverse between fat and hair loss occurred. Whereas if all we needed to grow to some hair was to exercise and eat healthy, whereas fat people needed to wait years, keep up with internet forums, and depend on the possible treatments down the road from researchers at Histogen and Replicel.

That would be scary! If the choice is between permanent extreme baldness and permanent extreme obesity, I will choose baldness every time!

I'd choose baldness over obesity. But if the choice was between baldness or permanently being overweight by 20 or even 30 pounds, then I'd definitely choose the latter.

Yes, obesity is worse, but there's a decent cure for obesity.

Liam Hemsworth is a good example of the difference between attractiveness and charisma.

He looks fabulous, no doubt about it.

Unlike his brother, he lacks natural charisma, or at least has in most of his recent roles (Independence Day 2, The Hunger Games, etc), and is dismissed even by women for being boring in roles.
