I hear what you guys are saying here regarding fat. I am really so tired of hearing people bitching about things that they can control and change. If jogging and not eating like sh*t could cure my hair loss, I'd shoot a load from here to New Jersey right now. But there is no such cure for us hair loss sufferers, especially if you hair loss is progressive or finasteride gives you terrible side effects (or just simply doesn't work). And much worse off, people suffering from diseases like cancer cannot control their fates for the most part. I knew a beautiful, sweet girl who died way too young from cancer, something that she obviously couldn't control. If the least of some one's problems is something that they can change on their own, then they've got it pretty damn good.
I was actually watching Intervention on A&E tonight and I really envied those people. It's the same old scenario. They show the guy strung out or sh*tfaced, they show how he's f*cking up his life and his families' lives, they stage the intervention where everyone cries for him to get better, he cries and agrees to go to rehab, and then they show like 3 months later where he is grinning like Howdy Doody and everyone's happier than a dog with 2 d*cks.
These people on Intervention, just like fat people, have a clear cut solution to their problems that they could take it they chose to do so. Their problems are fixable and contain solutions.
