I guess in a way we are both lucky - I think zircon was also the same and in that area of nw3 to nw4, but where he was still able to style it and look like they've got almost a fullhead of hair.

Personally it took me 18 months to see my final hair loss pattern. Went from a thick NW1.5 to a NW7 in a very rapid time. Still losing hair on my horseshoe too so idk, is it possible to go lower than NW7?

I don't know much of anything about dermarolling myself, although some on here report good results with it. Personally I use tretinoin and peppermint oil to enhance minoxidil penetration

Dr Rassman points out its around 26. However I have heard people like @Wolf Pack indicate that for those who have early onset, you will begin to see the final pattern by the time you are thirty.

I have seen men reach a full Class 7 balding pattern by the age of 21. Most men with advanced balding patterns get them by the time they are 26 years old.

if this is the case, then I will be inbetween NW5 based on my sides, and how far the crown dips down.

My theory is to pay attention to your sides, followed by the crown dip area to indicate your norwood pattern. As the hair in these regions tend to be resilient around the surrounding areas

That's for people who have really agressive baldness. For me, that's not true. I'm way beyond thirties.

It's definitely not my final pattern. But I can't speak for others. Some people lost a lot in their teens. And I
do feel really bad for them, because nothing sucks more than being a bald teenager. Teenage years suck
for most people as it is. It wasn't obvious until I was 20.

When do you think you will REACH your final Norwood pattern? By age 80? That's the million dollar question. I wish there was an exact age you could say this is bad as it gets but unfortunately its unknown your whole life. I used to think 35 years old was the magic number. Then I changed it to 50 years old but its unpredictable. Don Ameche proved that as he went bald in his 70's which is still not bad since 70 percent are balding at his age.

I base my tretinoin use on studies showing it to increase minoxidil's effectiveness. I believe it's by like 3x it enhances minoxidil, which makes sense considering what it does to the skin

Although there are some studies on peppermint oil, admittedly my addition of it was moreso based on anecdotal reports from this site, although you can literally feel it working in your scalp shortly after applying it

What I do is I nightly apply the tretinoin to my hairline, then about 20 minutes later apply my liquid minoxidil to which I've added approximately 4% peppermint oil. I don't think you need to wait the 20 minutes if you don't want, that's just what I like to do

Id been using it on my face for almost a year before I decided to also incorporate it into my hair routine, so I was already fairly experienced with properly building it up and introducing it gradually enough to avoid that sort of thing

If you use minoxidl on your face then it will work for your hair as it will be in your bloodstream.

I am def. an example of high norwood at young age. f*** man! Why do I remember how pathetic my life is. I am freaking bald. Oh god, I am having another one of my meltdowns....i have been more or less content in the last 7 years but after turning 30, i feel like i am fucked. i do not even abuse ever in real life. and i am just so annoyed that my life is so pathetic.
