What oral anti androgen are you on and what dose? I suppose you're also on oral minoxidil too, if yes what dose?
I take Bicalutamide 50mg. I also tried oral Minoxidil. This did not change anything, but minoxidil caused severe swelling of the face and growth of body hair and eyebrow growth. I'll never touch it again.

You need to eat less salt that's why your face swells with minoxidil. I would give it another go. Have you tried cpa?

I eat little salt anyway. This does not compensate for the side effects of Minoxidil. Hopefully RU won't have that side effect because of the ethanol.
Have you tried cpa?
No, I don't think that makes sense. Estrogen helps me; it’s not necessary to use AA. I use bicalutamide only for its oil-reducing effect.

22 mg oral minoxidil never had puffiness or water retention!
I took the usual dose of 5 mg (if my memory serves me correctly). But the effect of water retention did not disappear even after half a year. Also, because of minoxidil, my body hair began to grow, my eyebrows increased in size. I will never use minoxidil again, too much inconvenience.

the only side effect i get is really badanxiety sometimes not always! It saved my life and of course it grew hair everywhere in my body and made my haircolor a lot darker from light brown to almost black which i hate it but that meant that it was that light from thinning maybe! It reversed even temples man i love it! Oral minoxidil is the sh*t

Dont forget water around the heart. Eventually it will kill you. Its a silent killer. I was on 15-20mg for 5 months and started shitting blood litteraly. Also no effect on my hair. Just reduced shedding but I kept on balding. Oral min isnt safe long term.

Thanks! Good to be back.

My current regimen:
finasteride 1mg 4x week
dutasteride 0.5mg 3x week
cpa 25mg daily
oral min 10mg daily
RU 5% daily
weekly microneedling using a dermastamp at 1.5mm and I apply the RU directly after.

My hair is still pretty good! I have lost some of the regrowth from oral min on my temples and hairline but my hair is still generally thicker than it's ever been :)

Less salt or not it still make u look puffier. Also it blocks dht which is very bad.
I can only speak from my experience and I only got puffy when I ate alot of salt. I do get occasional dark circles but just put a tiny bit of foundation under your eyes and it's not a problem.

I disagree that miniturisation is irreversible, we've all seen posts of guys who are diffuse thinning NW3's completely regrow dead zones and restore their hair.. sure that isnt common but hair follicles lie dormant for years before they fully die off.

Miniaturization is partially reversible, reversible at the initial stage. But this is a very small effect. After 3 years of HRT, my hair did not improve in quality.
I think the reason why temple hairs are specifically the hardest to regrow is because they were already miniaturized in your youth so when they fall out from puberty its pretty much over. I was a substitute teacher for a bit and noticed a lot of the kids had really thin hair at the temples or none at all even before puberty. Still makes me feel like absolute sh*t when I scrutinize my hairline but maybe I'll treat myself to a little transplant some day.

Why do u derma stamp 1.5mm and use RU? That will make RU go systemic as hell. The molar mass of RU is in the 300 range so no point.
