Where you get your bica from mate.
And do you feel as though you seen any benefits since you’ve been on it.
Cheers

I get mine from shesalady.co.uk, it’s a website trusted by transgender people on reddit. I have noticed that I produce significantly less sebum compared to when I was on spironolactone, and I have noticed further growth.

I would say your situation has definitely improved and regrown some already.. however, nobody can ever expect a guarantee for regrowth and even then there's always a good chance it may not come back all the way.

maybe it will take 2 years (or even longer?) for maximum effect
View attachment 121289

Ugh, just imagine if I got no regrowth... That would be so depressing! Lmao

When you drop testosterone with finasteride or any other antiandrogen, you need to take estradiol so that the body does not understand the difference! The body does not care what hormone you have.

Yes it is. I agree. what region are you from? when I went to Finland through the Russian Federation, I wanted to buy pills because you said they were without a prescription. I'm from the Baltic countries. So, nobody already sells hormones without a prescription. I was told you can search somewhere they will sell. maybe small pharmacies. but as I understand it, in order to buy 100% of the pills, you need to order in the online pharmacy. Maybe I did not understand. But it's hard to buy without a prescription. I did not sell. Such is the law of the Russian Federation.

Haha I love the name of that website. Cheers mate. I’m in the uk so hopefully it won’t take to long to arrive.

It takes around seven days if you are in the U.K., it’s greatly fast. I normally get mine within six to seven days. It will be medications from either Portugal, Turkey or Greece since they are the only countries which don’t require a prescription.

Thats how cypro and spironolactone work, bica is not supposed to activate the receptor.
bica=NSAA
cypro and spironolactone= very weak partial agonists

Maybe you're right. Cypro is sometimes referred to either a pure antagonist or very weak agonist from what I have read. Maybe the agonist activity is so low that it is difficult to differentiate.

Do you get that stuff through international mail? It can be stopped at the border control, right? Here in Norway it would definetly be siezed if noticed and you would have to show prescription or the medication will be destroyed. Ordering medication from another country is also illegal and you risk getting penalty here. I guess these things are not on the narcotics list, so you would probably not get thrown into jail or something.

[/ QUOTE]

maybe in some region there is such a thing, but I buy everything without a prescription, this is the current capitalism of profit and profitability! Thanks to him for this! I am from Moscow.

Within the U.K., it’s not illegal to order prescription medications as long as it is ordered overseas. I receive it through international mail, but it’s still within Europe. In fact, I told my dermatologist I am self-medicating on bicalutamide and she said she will provide me monitoring/blood tests. It’s disguised well, since they don’t provide the medication box; it’s small packages which appear like accessories, so the likelihood of it getting seized is almost invisible.

Generally minoxidil is considered bad in terms of aging, particularly skin. but wow this is the first time I heard of something like this;

" Minoxidil is, of course, the well known basis for certain popular hair growth products. That outcome was an accident, however, as the compound originally entered clinical trials - some 30 years ago - as a possible treatment for hypertension, or chronic raised blood pressure. The primary mechanism of interest is that minoxidil spurs greater deposition of elastin in blood vessel walls and other tissues, thereby reversing a fraction of the progressive loss of elastin that takes place over the course of aging.

Elastin, as one might guess from the name, is a component of the extracellular matrix responsible for the elasticity exhibited by tissues such as skin and blood vessels. Hypertension is caused by the age-related stiffening of blood vessels, which leads to a dysregulation of pressure control systems in our biochemistry. This then speeds up the progression of atherosclerosis and heart failure, and in addition produces an accelerated rate of capillary rupture and consequent damage in delicate tissues such as the brain and kidney. It is a very import aspect of age-related degeneration.

It is interesting to see researchers still working on minoxidil. The original clinical trials for hypertension, while leading to an approved drug, showed that minoxidil causes edema around the heart at useful doses for the elastin deposition effect, a potentially severe consequence. For me, that is more than enough to reconsider its use in this way. During the early studies and trials, hair growth in the patients was noted, and the rest of the development program thereafter is history. It is possible that now, with a far greater ability to take a small molecule as a starting point and build different versions with different characteristics, it is plausible to build a minoxidil analog that doesn't have the serious side-effects at usefully high doses, where that was simply not possible in earlier decades. We shall see.

Arterial wall elastic fibers, made of 90% elastin, are arranged into elastic lamellae which are responsible for the resilience and elastic properties of the large arteries (aorta and its proximal branches). Elastin is synthesized only in early life and adolescence mainly by the vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) through the cross-linking of its soluble precursor, tropoelastin. In normal aging, the elastic fibers become fragmented and the mechanical load is transferred to collagen fibers, which are 100-1000 times stiffer than elastic fibers.

Minoxidil, an ATP-dependent K+ channel opener, has been shown to stimulate elastin expression in vitro and in vivo in the aorta of young adult hypertensive rats. Here, we have studied the effect of a 3-month chronic oral treatment with minoxidil (120 mg/L in drinking water) on the abdominal aorta structure and function in adult (6-month-old) and aged (24-month-old) male and female mice. Our results show that minoxidil treatment preserves elastic lamellae integrity, which is accompanied by the formation of newly synthesized elastic fibers in aged mice. This led to a generally decreased pulse pressure and a significant improvement of the arterial biomechanical properties in female mice, which present an increased distensibility and a decreased rigidity of the aorta. Our studies show that minoxidil treatment reversed some of the major adverse effects of arterial aging in mice and could be an interesting anti-arterial aging agent, also potentially usable for young female-targeted therapies."

even then the effect is more beneficial for females (perhaps due to higher NO production?) :

Interesting info, and I'm far from very knowledgeable about the intricacies of minoxidil, but it sounds like two contradicting findings there. So is the article saying it's safe to use minoxidil or no? Sorry for my stupid brain :p

there are pros and cons to literally everything. nothing is totally safe.

" The original clinical trials for hypertension, while leading to an approved drug, showed that minoxidil causes edema around the heart at useful doses for the elastin deposition effect, a potentially severe consequence. "

Google says:
Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues. maybe that's from Minoxidil's water retention effect? if so diuretics such as spironolactone can counteract that.

not sure how dangerous it is.

but on the other hand, Heart Disease is the number 1 killer so the risk/reward ratio may be overall favorable. Plus hair is also pretty important :p

" Our studies show that minoxidil treatment reversed some of the major adverse effects of arterial aging "

So all in all taking a low dose of minoxidil, while not living a sedentary life. And stopping immediately if you notice swelling of the hands or feet, would probably best.

Disclaimer: I'm not doctor please don't sue me

It is temporarily sold out, however they should restock soon. Luckily I had ordered a six month supply. You can send them an e-mail and ask about when they will restock, and they will answer on business days.

Yeah i noticed it was sold out too, i bookmarked the page just incase spironolactone doesn't work out for me. What sort of payment do they take? oh and btw, i saw in one of your posts earlier that you were thinking of adding oral minoxidil to your regimen, i would really wait 6-12 months with your current regimen before thinking about using oral minoxidil. Just my opinion.

I have decided not to use oral minoxidil, mainly because it’s quite a hassle to purchase and it’s harder to get on prescription compared to anti-androgens. I believe they use a plethora of payment methods, in which you can e-mail them about. Personally, I do it through bank transfer since it’s handled within the same country I live in.

Oh im sorry. Going to the extreme only to find less-than-desirable results must be traumatic. Tell me more, what did you take and what happened? (you can send me some old posts if you dont want to write it all again)
