Started 200mg spironolactone today after finasteride didn’t help. What’s the outlook on this regiment?

Yeah... Unfortunately mid scalp is sh*t. I think i developed scarring alopecia there cause nothing works... But reducing inflammation with clobetasol for a week must've been done something

f*** i think i also developed lpp on top of Androgenetic Alopecia we're on the same boat and nothing works for scarring alopecia ( eve tried oral jak )

Yeah once u develop scarring it's truly over... Even hair transplant can trigger lpp and your transplanted hairs die

I still have inflammation but maybe HRT lowered some of it? I can't really tell. Only stuff that worked is one week of two times per day topical clobetasol ointment. I'm doing a two week rest and will do another week of clobetasol cause the pain and redness is back(not that bad as last time tho).

thanks for the answer so grt didnt cure your inflammation. ne carefulll with clobetasol btw it worked great but once i stopped i had the craziest inflammation rebound ever. btw did you got gyno on hrt? thx

Yeah I used it one week two times a day and now I am doing the rest phase for three weeks. The pain is kinda back but is not that severe so the next time I'm gonna do 3 times per week two times per day to maintain the low pain and inflammation.

btw did you got gyno on hrt? thx

Yeah it actually got so bad lately even tho I'm on 16.4 BMI. HRT will always cause gyno, how much? Depends on your genetics. In my case ik it will get sooo bad if I get into a normal weight again but I have to deal with it if I want my hair. It is a trade off

No one knows, but what I certainly know is you will get gyno no matter the degree

What brand of dutasteride do you use? Is it original avodart?
