Finasteride and fat

Hi all

I've been trying to find some definitive evidense the proves or not that taking finasteride adds body fat.

Searched the forums and the wider net but can't find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Aging (with slowing of the metabolism, diet, and a sedentary lifestyle) is the primary cause of weight gain. Don’t look to blame the drug finasteride for it.

Although i think it is a possible side effect. If there was "definitive evidence" pointing toward it then the FDA would have something more to say about it..

Personally, I don't think finasteride inhibited my ability to get in shape, or my fatness in the least. Think about it, a lot of people start taking finasteride in their early 20's....which is right about the time that people get out of college and start sitting on their butts working their day job. I know that's what happened to me when I was 21.

(Yes...I am fully aware that I am super-duper white)
