finasteride for the temples

Hi @ll... I got problems in the temples myself and taking finasteride for 2 months now. Before that I tried 0,25 mg finasteride with Grapefruit juice and a finasteride topical with green tea extract for about 4 months ... My temples got bigger of that (I did not have visibly changes in the temples for the last 2 years). Then I changed my regimen to 1 mg Propecia daily and nothing else but vitamins.

Now I am worried that finasteride might not work in the temples area at all.. I am actually a Norwood 1- 1,5 only and hope to remain!

any salving comments?

finasteride has maintained my temples, but not really much regrowth there. been using it for 1 year and 2 months. the side temples tho, i got great regrowth on my left side, but nothing on my right.

thats kinda weird...you happen to apply minoxidil there?

yeah, hairloss suxx and is different in anyone of us! I am just looking for some Oversea experience, which could cheer me up a little!

well i just started minoxidil in december, but before the minoxidil I had regrowth (SLOW) on my left side temple and nothing on the right.

HOWEVER

even though i was going to wait for the full two months to post, well i have a huge SPROUT of tiny hairs growing @ my juvenile hairline and all over the bare temple regions. if those actually go terminal i'd be back to nw1 (which prob won't happen)

the side temples i got a lot there as well.

we'll see, the rogaine website said it takes at least 4 months for peachy fuzzy hair to thicken so I guess time will tell~
