Same boat here. If this doesn't work I'm going to be bummed.I've been on finasteride for 2 months and my hair looks a little worse at the left temple where my hair loss is the most aggressive, hopefully it's just a shed, right temple is still nw1 with slight thinning not sure if much has changed.
If 1mg finasteride ED doesn't work I think I'll try duta 3x a week, which works out even cheaper for me than finasteride ED + minoxidilSame boat here. If this doesn't work I'm going to be bummed.
I keep reading that guys who have 5ar deficiencies never go bald, which is why I think this stuff should work. But for some reason not everyone responds. I read that finasteride can increase dht if the body reacts by creating more 5ar enzyme or it could cause upregulation. If 1mg finasteride ED doesn't work I think I'll try duta 3x a week, which works out even cheaper for me than finasteride ED + minoxidil
I suppose it's probably best to check DHT levels if finasteride isn't working by the 1 year mark to see if the body is producing more DHT to counter finasteride. If the DHT levels are still low, hair loss is probably mainly caused by extremely high sensitivity to DHT or other factors.I keep reading that guys who have 5ar deficiencies never go bald, which is why I think this stuff should work. The thing is I'm 31. If I had high sensitivity then it would have been over for me by now. Hair loss is strange, My dad and uncle seem to have DHT resistant hair at ages 55 - 59, they have more hair than their father and their maternal grandfather (who was nw7) had at their age but my maternal grandfather had a huge *** bald spot at his crown aged 30, so it probably started early to late 20s for him, but he could grow a massive beard to compensate, I am losing hair at 21 and can't grow a beard. The thing is I'm 31. I think the beard thing is dumb. Every bald guy says go bald and shave it and just grow out a beard. But women prefer groomed beards, like a stubble. Bald with stubble looks better anything beyond that feels like a sorry attempt to overcompensate for being bald.Hair loss is strange, My dad and uncle seem to have DHT resistant hair at ages 55 - 59, they have more hair than their father and their maternal grandfather (who was nw7) had at their age but my maternal grandfather had a huge *** bald spot at his crown aged 30, so it probably started early to late 20s for him, but he could grow a massive beard to compensate, I am losing hair at 21 and can't grow a beard.
In my experience, women hate shaved heads and / or big beards it's a lose lose, I think if I ever go nw7 like my genetics will force me to, I will wear hats 24/7 or a hair system.I think the beard thing is dumb. I'd just go with hatsIn my experience, women hate shaved heads and / or big beards it's a lose lose, I think if I ever go nw7 like my genetics will force me to, I will wear hats 24/7 or a hair system.
That's definitely a cheaper option hahaI'd just go with hats
Right and wrong. That’s very dependent upon the face and head of the person growing a beard. Women don’t “prefer stubble”. They prefer stubble on someone with an attractive jawline. On the opposite side of the coin, some people just look flat out horrible with a beard. It makes my cheeks look puffy, and makes me look fat. It looks weird. But without a beard, I have a well-shaped jaw. It really just depends. Some people look way better beard + bald, than they do bald + stubble.I think the beard thing is dumb.
