Nono i don't want change again i want stay on 1 mg ed, drug working and I got some results, it's just to understand how much I can expect in terms of future results, in the sense if I have to consider the 6 month mark on May 6th then I can say that my result will almost certainly not satisfy, if instead I have to consider the 6 month mark on 24 August then I can rest assured because it means that I respond very very well to the treatmentRight so you want to change again? Yes the reality is it is much more linear. I moved from 1mg ed from sides back to 0.5mg due to sides and in 3 months lost all my grown hairs in my temple corners. I have a study somewhere on my computer that I can’t find, that did a study that shows that to reduce the same amount of 5AR in your follicles that 1mg does for your prostate you would need 50mg ed. The dose matters greatly. However best to work up from a lower dose because of sides. Each dose increase requires another 6-12 months of observation to conclude how much better it is for you.Yeah i see that is serum dht, but other merk study say that 0.2 ed is like 80% of 1 mg ed ( the graph have hair count) so are you sure about the linear relation(it's not an attack it's just to understand )? however i'm little confuse because so many claim that work almost the same other no, other say that finasteride real half life is like 7-14 days so you can take eod - mwf and is the same, other say to take it ed because halfilife is 8-9 hour

Ok i understand, ty very much for the patienceDude there are loads of studies showing that finasteride doses greatly change the amount of 5ar in specific tissue types. This has been addressed many times on the forum.
finasteride results are dose dependant - there is a reason people don’t get results with 0.2mg and do with 1mg.
The difference is linear.
Regardless of what dose you’re taking you need to wait AT LEAST 6 months to see any change at all - ideally a year.
