Five months after upping to 1mg finasteride a day

Hi

so five months ago I felt I was losing hair so I upped my dose from 0.5mg finasteride daily as I had for the past 4 years and started on 1mg a day .

here is how my crown etc looked back then … scroll through the pages as I posted pics in diff liight …

Your hair looks dead in some pictures. I mean, without volume. Don't know if it's because you're combing it forward or else...

Your hair looks fine and you're taking medication to prevent going bald. There's nothing else you can do. Posting here and asking people to examine it isn't going to help.

I think you should go and see a psychologist and talk to them about it.

You can add minoxidil if you're that worried about it, I don't think finasteride really maintains hair by itself for too long.

Get on the horse sperm regiment it works wonders, not only to grow hair but also as a good hair gel. Jokes aside. Upgrade to dutasteride if you are so paranoid, and add in oral minoxidill.

These are powerful hormone-altering drugs. DHT is not a "waste hormone", it's very important. Even if you hair is thinning, it's not noticeable in the photos and you're obviously freaking out and obsessing over it which is not mentally healthy.

What you really need to do is get off these forums and see a psychologist.

I'm actually going bald. And I'm not making multiple posts asking people to examine my hairline. And then constantly bumping them insisting that people reply when nobody shows much interest.
