Has anyone on here had any luck communicating with dr. Cots in the past? If so, that person (s) should contact him immediately to see if he will make his presentation publicly available?

I almost got in to see him..i think if i had pushed i could have switched to him as a Dr but he is 3 hours away.

Hes in Penn U. He sees patients IF you have a dermatologist recommend you and give you a letter of medical necessity. He's also not crazy expensive and takes insurance. But its a lot of bullshit with his office to get in.

What would be the point though? At best all he could do is prescribe finasteride, dutasteride, ketoconazole like any other doctor. That or recommend trying PRP, wounding, or laser. Maybe get you into a trial for something but even that would be a stretch

wondering about the quality of the new created terminal hair...

what do you think? Possible that these hairs are as thick and dark as your normal hair quality was before alopecia?

Guys one thing at a time. We need to figure out a way to view his presentation. Any ideas? Anyone a doctor here living in the area able to attend? Anyone able to communicate with dr. Cots?

I dont see anywhere that it says you have to be a physician whatsoever to attend and i had no problem registering. Unfortunately i live nowhere near orlando so someone in florida needs to get on this register and attend!

It does not say but if you contact them, they stated it was for dermatologist or MDs only.

because I'm a woman and all the Drs i saw felt that my ferritin was at least partially to blame fro my hair loss..so i kept researching that and ALL the research done on the low ferritin in women contributing to hair loss in Androgenetic Alopecia was done by Dr Costarellis.
I had a lot of questions regarding his research.
So i wanted to go see him instead of people mis quoting him.

Just saw that Dr. Ken Washenik (the same guy behind Bosley Medical Group, Aderans Research Institute and Kerastem) is also working with Follica.

I don't know why but this guy seems like a comic book villain...

a vilain who fights hairloss but who got a hairtransplant. is he a mole.

Is there really no one here who lives close enough to this event to attend? I'd be willing to chip in money for a train ticket for someone nearby.

Hey
a vilain who fights hairloss but who got a hairtransplant. mole.

I don't know... I got a bad vibe from this guy.

I'm not from the US, but Bosley got an awful reputation, right? Aderans failed and Kerastem just looks like a big scam... Not the best background IMO.

Agreed. I think he's included because he's a marketing guy. He knows how to get the word out, setup partner clinics... He has the network and the experience to sell sub-par sh*t. Imagine if he has something that actually works. It doesn't bug me they have a sleazy marketing guy. Marketing guys are sleazy.

Yeah, Bosley is a butcher center. Washenik is a self-centered clown. He just cares about $$$. Sleek guy, that's all. He was/is also sponsored by Merck to promote propecia btw.

And he could also use some new hair growing tech, if they had any.
