I had hair similar to that of Zayn Malik, that's how good mine was before I stared balding.

1. I hated it because it was very curly and I wanted it straight. Now, of course, I miss it. It was ridiculously thick and full.

2. I basically always had the same style, either a little boy haircut or all to the back. I wasn't very creative with it and my parents never let me grow it out. They would've been happy if I had a buzz cut all year round.

3. I was indifferent. I never thought it would happen to me.

4. Not really. But when I had a full head of hair my luck with women was no different.

I have very mild hair loss, and I'm 22 right now. I'm a NW2 (check my started threads) but I'm pretty sure my hair loss is stable based on family history so I'm not taking any treatment.

1. I am pretty conscious of my hair loss, insofar that I keep my hair longer to cover my temple and also create artificially normal temple points (they are pretty heavily receded and miniaturized). I absolutely do not think "I will make use of my hair during interpersonal interactions" (what?). That said, I am more aware than most on how hair can frame your face, so I do appreciate the value of my hair on my appearance.

2. I stick to whatever I think looks good. As a teen I used to spike the front up. As I got closer to my 20s I started keeping a side part with various styles (including spiking it up off to the side). I have thick wavy hair which looks good medium-length but gets too puffy (for reference, my haircut appointments can take the full 30 min after 6 weeks, if my previous haircut didn't devoluminize it), and I don't want to manage it (and use product etc.). So I don't grow it past medium-length. I don't think I would look very good with long hair anyways.

3. Depends. If I see someone bald (or shaved later-stage Norwood) at the gym, sometimes I'm pretty impressed by how well they pull it off. I live in California and I think the tan helps out a lot. When I see someone balding (NW3+) I generally feel pity for them. Unless they have their hair tight and pull it off, because then they'll be fine.

4. No. I don't even think women notice hair loss per se until NW4+. I know I didn't notice it. But at the same time, I do think that anything worse than a NW3 (and even a NW3) makes you less attractive to women, so in that way I am sure they think badly of baldness. It's similar to how many men won't notice if a woman has ugly eyebrows, but their opinion of her attractiveness will be lower due to those eyebrows.
