a wider face would help. I mean if all is proportionate then I guess a small forehead would belong on a wider face and reverse. A wide face with a big forhead would pretty much look like an eraser head.

In the end bald guys just get the short end. Its straight forward genetically the fact, bald is inferior in physical appeal. I mean there are exceptions but so rare do the THREE guys constantly touted even count? Would they if they werent famous and rich?

I just saw a pic of me from that run and MAN did I just get depressed. Im just NOT photogenic anymore hair transplant or not.
My FH is so damn big I could literally turn my head upside down, flip my face over and it would sit in the exact same spot.
Ugh Im just embarrassed to live.
Had my idiot father over last weekend and my brother came up between me, him and my GF. I pretty much said (cause my GF "hates" him.... okay) "well dumb as he is he got the hair while Im stuck looking like this F*** face"
That old man agrees. Even him at 60 doesnt want to be bald. He even said the hair transplant came in good but now looking at that pic I realize I just went from utter ****e to borderline creepy. We'll see how I feel after my trim tonight I guess.
Need to lose some weight to actually, geez Im a mess.

Good luck with tonight :) Well Swing, the weight thing could be sorted as you very well know. It just seems like the run triggered this feeling as well as seeing your dad and brother. It could just be a bad week. Hopefully we will be able to see the distance between your hairline and eyebrows and see if it is an issue. You could be being excessively hard on yourself. Don't forget your final hair transplant results won't kick in for a good while yet as well. I take it you asked your surgeon to lower the hairline and he said he couldn't due to grafts or something?

If the forehead is naturally high even before hair loss, you can't lower the hairline. Then it's a style thing. The hairline has to start at the top of the forehead. The top of the forehead is where it becomes flat which is the scalp. If you can see the top of your scalp when you look at your hairline, then yes ideally it should be lower like when you were younger. If you can't see scalp from the front on angle, lowering it would not look right and it's rare in men.

Probably not well explained but check this guy. Okay it may be natural for him but a hairline beginning low on the forehead is a bit weird.

I never look at bald celebrities, it's irrelevant.

Wolf Pack, what point did I miss exactly?

1. I never said that you said fwhr is the be all and end all

2. I never said he's good looking bald. I said he's a good looking bald dude.

Strong thick neck is important too for pulling off a masculine look.

Nothing makes you look weak and scrawny like a skinny neck.

Yes my hairline was always high but if you looked at an old picture of me you can see how its still lower than now and oddly rounded when I grew my hair in due to its curliness.

right be fore it started getting bad around age 20

god now even after the hair transplant.
Now before anyone says the hair transplant wasnt worth anything, think back to the photos of my last run I posted where I had NOTHING up front but that awful island of hair. My hair in this pic is also shaggy, wet, and directly under the sunlight.

You're a good looking guy, so that's one great thing. Yes I see what you mean. Even in the younger picture the forehead is naturally high (but okay). Not having temple points or hair on the sides also may make it look wider - I think you naturally lack this. In the hair transplant picture I can see what worries you but it's not a disaster at all. Keeping your hair high and tight, I think it looks passable. Again, I have that same situation currently so I completely get how infuriating it can be.

LOL your bro -hairline is impeccable, it couldn't be straighter if he tried.

I can also see why you hated shaving due to the forehead. At least it isn't protruding, that would be a double whammy. But I think with your other features it wouldn't be a disaster at all. Of course, you look better with your hair grown out.

Temple point restoration would be the only approach that could help minimize the appearance of a wide forehead. Height wise not so much but it will help keep everything more compact and symmetrical.

This is what I'm going for in 2016, along with more angle closure.

Its crazy how the slightest recession and mm northe hairline goes and the difference it makes on facial symmetry and harmony. People with low hairline don't realise how good they have it. For guys like swing and myself with naturally high foreheads the slightest recession ****s with your features and proportions.

Wolfpack, seeing as you have a low hairline I can see why it doesn't bother you as much rather it's just an inconvenience. For us on the high end a slight temple loss ruins everything

Gosling is good looking though. Jaw, cheekbones, forehead in proportion. All good looking guys have sharp masculine features of some kind. I'd say both look good. Don't think gosling would look great shaved though.

I think most women would go with Ryan Gosling. However, if he was losing his hair, it could be a different story.

Gosling stole my heart in "drive" which was also a great movie :D

He has that smooth thing going on . . . . but at the same time you know he will always be there for you<3
