Getting Anxious after noticing these pictures of my crown. Need some expert guidance please.

I am a male 28 years old. I dont notice my hair often. But recently i did notice it and feel concerned. I am attaching the pics of my crown. Is this normal ??? Someone with a good knowledge about hair Please guide me.

There are 2 factors in the pics i am posting.
1)most of the pics are either with wet or oily hair.
2) I have 2 Whorls on my head and both next to each other.

Plz guide me if i need to be concerned as of now???

Don't look like nothing to worry about just yet or maybe even ever. You're 28 so a bit of thinning and recession is totally normal and does not mean you will look like Hulk Hogan next week. Chill bro.

I believe your hair situation is the same. You'll find on this forum that if any scalp is visible, you will be instantly told you are balding without any regard for hair types, contrast between hair color and scalp, lighting, camera exposure, wet hair, hair with product etc. My hair is like yours and I thought my crown was going in my mid to late 20s, I'm now 42 and guess what - no change!

Of course, you might be thinning, any of us can be at any stage, but based on what you have posted here (wet dark hair against light scalp, photo taken with a camera phone which exacerbates the contrast further etc) I personally do not see anything you should be worried about.

To be sure either way, you will need to see a dermatologist.

Hallelujah, someone who shares my views . Way too many people on this forum are to hasty to suggest jumping on medication even when it's not needed. I already said above in this post that a bit of thinning and recession starting in late 20's in totally normal and does not necessarily mean you will be looking like a golf ball in 2 months.

I need to take notice of my own advice because i always think the worst about my hair , I'm currently growing out for the first time in 5 years and have diffuse thinning and hoping it looks ok grown out .

Your hair looks very much like my friends, who looks great when buzz cut but he tells me as it gets longer it is too fine to style.

He is 40 and his hair has been like that since about 32.

You still have good overall coverage, certainly not bald.

please @Bazza86 - is it definitely thinning? the second photo above just looks like short fine hair to me?

Either way, the overall look is strong - you look cool and short hair suits you. Even if you were slick bald, I think you have the right features to pull it off.

Try Microneedling once a week or once every two weeks and use topical Minoxidil 5% twice a day, everyday (but skip Minoxidil on the day you Microneedle)
