Getting Anxious after noticing these pictures of my crown. Need some expert guidance please.

Either way, the overall look is strong - you look cool and short hair suits you. Even if you were slick bald, I think you have the right features to pull it offthsnk you bro .

Thanks bro. It can look better or worse depending on the lighting conditions, either way there is a definite contrast between the thinning / lighter hair all over the top of the scalp compared to the back and sides which are darker and thicker .

I've had it buzzed for the past 4 years but last year I grew it out to about a #4 and the diffuse thinning was REALLY noticeable BUT now I'm growing it out again and I think the top looks darker and not as thinned out , I will have a better idea on the situation in about a week or 2 when it's longer.

I am a male 28 years old. I dont notice my hair often. But recently i did notice it and feel concerned. I am attaching the pics of my crown. Is this normal ??? Someone with a good knowledge about hair Please guide me.

There are 2 factors in the pics i am posting.
1)most of the pics are either with wet or oily hair.
2) I have 2 Whorls on my head and both next to each other.

Plz guide me if i need to be concerned as of now???

It does look like a little bit of thinning. It's sometimes hard to distinguish crown thinning from simple cowliks (i.e. whorls), but it does look a bit too pronounced to just brush it up to a cowlick. But it's good because it's in the early stages!
what can I say, the only thing I can recommend as a first line of defense and recovery and will work for prolonged periods of time is finasteride. Minoxidil on its own is just a temporary fix. Anything else is weaker than any of these two treatments (if you're unwilling to go into more powerful anti androgens of course, but finasteride is tried and tested).

Bald and beard looks good man, very masculine. Plus you’ve got a good physical frame to pull it off. I have a friend who is similar to you.

I do like the buzz cut though, you’ve certainly got enough hair still to rock that look - in a few of the photos I agree that your hair looks quite dark and dense.

Yeah I do like the bald and bearded look too but i would like to have the option of growing my hair back out long again.

Yes I've been doing Nizoral ( 3x week) topical castor oil (every other day) microneedling (1.5mm once a week) I don't want to take medication if I can help it.

My hair seems darker and thicker than when I last grew it out last year but another week or 2 will show how it's really looking. Fingers crossed I can get this back !!

Fair enough but saying people should start treatments when they have more hair than a Greek pornstar is just stupid .

I only have a tiny bit of thinning at the hairline but I'm taking finasteride to prevent it getting bad in the first place. The whole point of taking finasteride is prevention of further loss. It's useless for someone who is heavily balding.
