The sad thing is that what she said isn't true at all. Finasteride does cause side effects and it isn't very effective on some people.

Didn't watch but if she said Finasteride works well, it's true for most people and free of sides. Eyes need opening beyond forums where there is a bias of people. I think for older guys transplants themselves are enough, transplant the front well and put a bit behind, it works for over 30s quite well even with a starting point of NW4-5 and average donor, skull etc. Many guys have grandpa combovers at this age which really affects looks.

Little synopsis

She complains about how scientists can't figure out how to prevent side effects for birth control yet they push all these pills out for hair loss. Im only aware of finasteride so maybe she is assuming every generic vendor counts as a new treatment.. She then mentions laser helmets, pills, and topicals and she assumes is that this stuff works. LLLT is a scam, prp is a scam, finasteride doesn't work for everyone and, like birth control, has side effects, and rogaine is mainly an adjunct treatment with finasteride. She throws out just get a hair transplant as if it's that easy when there are people who are not good candidates with retrograde alopecia. Plus women also go through FPB so it isn't entirely a male issue either...

She is not giving all the details and that isn't surprising because women don't normally suffer hair loss in their 20s.

I don't think women should be taken seriously when lecturing about male pattern baldness. That's like me lecturing women about pregnancy and birth control. What the hell would I know about that?

Finally she assumed that no man would love her if she went bald to justify why she wouldn't love her man if he were to go bald. And goes on a short rant about male privilege and entitlement which pretty much tells you all you need to know about her personality.

I am starting to think now that, rather than have a low opinion of them, most people think highly of men who wear a system.

Thanks for that. Yeah many of those treatments are just scams, rogaine is mostly crap too especially on it's own, will rarely maintain hair. Girls are clueless about hair in the sense I've heard them say can't a pill stop it (finasteride they are alluding too) or they think transplants give you a normal head of hair like at 18 lol. I remember a time they were discussing a mutual friend and saying he really needs to treat his hair as he's so bald, turns out the guy had surgery and also was on finasteride. It's because well transplants can't restore big areas in most people and of course some people start finasteride way too late, seems to be a bigger % than non responders imo, once dht sets in, its very hard to reverse it long term.

Yeah women have gorgeous hair mostly, biggest concern is how to style or dye it. Don't forget she's a young girl, just saw how she looked but didn't listen, balding is super rare in that age range, that's why I feel sorry for people who lost it early in life. Transplants will not make a baldite have a good head of hair in most cases, only finasteride is the saviour in that age range (with early action). I wouldn't take her comments seriously yep, just acting up without any knowledge.

However, I share the same sentiment she has for those who don't take action, go bald, and are miserable. I don't feel sorry for you if you just let it happen. I WILL feel sorry if despite treatment with FDA approved drugs you still fail. You didn't let it happen just like a cancer patient didn't let cancer happen either. You were unfortunately not a good responder.

That's more of a preference I guess. If I want to use a hair piece and my gf supports it (not reluctantly) then I would do it, but not every woman has the same view as her on hair systems.

Actually, this person gets a ton of tiktok viewers so if her opinion becomes popular then bald men will be even more stigmatized. The video has half a million likes.
still the same issue as usual, some people give way too much on other peoples opinion, especially about their looks...
of course looks matter, but i wouldnt do anything to look better for other people... not even my own gf who used to complain about my clothes nearly every day^^

and the more you care about other peoples opinion, the more you feel insecure about it (or less confident, or whatever) until nothing is enough any ore and everybody else looks better in your opinion...
it shouldnt be that way... and people only feed it by giving in to that...

and for being bald, there is honestly only so much you can do, so you better do it, unless you dont care about your hair of course...

I'm actually starting to think hair systems will become more acceptable in mainstream culture. Reasons:

1) They look very real/undetectable if done right.
2) People are realizing how much females are "faking" anyway, with surgeries, makeup, cosmetic procedures, so a hair system is hardly like your changing anything drastic about yourself. You are moreso just restoring yourself back to your previous normal state.
