If games are escapism then customization of your character should be a must. I always loved games with silent protagonists and fully creatable characters.
Now also I usually wont play a game with a female protagonist because yes it is to some degree escapism and I honestly do not want to escape into a female form.... unless..... wink wink nudge nudge

Anyway I will not understand this need to always make the hero into a model.

I was under the impression Hitman had zero hair on his body. He was designed that way to not lave DNA anywhere. Early images he never even had eyebrows, later images he has them but I always thought they were false so he just wouldnt look weird walking around in public.
GTA 5 the bald guys is the most popular character but any NO MEANS a hero or even a decent human being. From what I saw he would not even be considered an anti hero, hes just 100% pure ugly chaos, where again being bad equates to bald.

Again I have zero desire to make a "thing" out of any of this because then I would just be one of those awful SJW idiots I complain about. Im more the house of "I will make it myself then" but honestly I have zero time and NEGATIVE TWELVE programming capabilities so I think that point is moot.

They're destroying entertainment in general.

I'm glad some people are not caving, I'm thinking about the amazing TV show Stranger Things for example.

I expected to find a lot of feminazi articles about it, and I wasn't disappointed.

"The nerds had to be boys playing D&D of course! Why couldn't they be girls!" (because nerdy girls playing D&D do not exist moron)

"I don't think the female teenager gave verbal consent when she had sex with the school jock! This show condones rapes!"

"The nerdy best friend, what a cliche, and she dies! The writers hate women!" (despite the fact that dozens of men die)

It's like these people really have nothing else to do with their time. They pick apart successful TV shows and like all leftists, they never offer alternatives. All they say is "this is problematic!"

Oh yeah? Then how would you make a better show sweetie?! Why don't you make your own TV show and present it to the Netflix producers?!

All they can do is criticize and throw tantrums to get their way. And the worst is that they sometimes get their way, and you see talented directors and video game developers caving to their demands.

Not specifically feminism, but the same protectionist attitude is slowly starting to ruin sports. Especially for kids.

Kids rugby teams don't compete here anymore. Apparently kids have to be shown that there are no losers in this world, until they are old enough to realize they were bullshitted to.

GAA is an very popular Irish amateur sport. More and more safety rules are coming into effect, taking away from the sport and the fun of it.

Protectionist parents need to f*** off out of other people's lives. It's not my responsibility to raise your kids. You don't like violence in video games? Don't buy them/let your kids buy them. Don't like violence in sports? Don't play them or watch them. Stop trying to control other people.
