Going Bald In Less Than A Year, Need Advice

Minoxidil to see if it was the problem, but really no change in shedding. Brutal and constant, overall loss of density. Top thinning faster and front is getting hit, hairline will go soon.

So it’s finally come down to the hairline thinning and a diffuse NW2 in the course of the last two months. I’m on topical Finasteride.25 and losing ground while still getting sides. Any ideas. I’m not going to go bald I’ll kill myself first.

Alright. Here is what you do.

You get on oral 1mg/day finasteride. You don't even think about the drug at all and work out, do hobbies, etc.

You keep on this for 1 year.

I know you love yourself way too much to kill yourself. So I don't buy that. Ask your girl to marry you and start a family already. Forget about this forum and move on. At least do that much.

Thanks. Swear it was an accident but whatever. I’ve managed to stay in shape to buffer the thinning. Really hard to tell if anything is helping. There are a ton of weak thin hairs 1-2 inches with the longer hairs falling out quick. Noticeable temple thinning and forelock. This is today, clean hair no sweat no topicals. There’s still hair but just really thin compared to last year. All I want is to slow this crazy shed. I’ve been off oral miniaturization awhile and consistent with topcial Finasteride.25%. My testosterone is really hi for my age 1100… went up on Dutasteride and never dropped to normal 800/900.

Correct. I was using 1% topical starting in September and it destroyed the front of my head. I hade some thinning but hairliywas holding. Most concern was mid scalp. After the Dutasteride recession and diffuse forelock went zero 100.
