bro what is your current regimen? You have a better hairline than most teenager man
Yep can see the diffuse in that second pic. You are 39 mate you’ve had a good run. They’re guys on here with 3 times your hair loss that are twice as young. Thanks all. I understand I have been lucky for my age. The aggressive onset and constant shed have significantly reduced my hair density in the 8 months since I noticed even normal thinning. If that rate seemed normal or less aggressive I'd be far less concerned. I have had hair could over 300 everybshower since begging Rogaine and fear I've done significant damage.
I'm still fortunate to have good density but the thinning is becoming noticeable. If Rogaine can help then I'll keep trying. I'm trying to get answers on the shed cycle. Is it true that no matter what the hair will only have 6 months of growth and be locked into a constant shed?
Attached is current dry hair. The part is wider and bald spot forming at crown. 8 months ago it was so dense I could barely get a comb through it.
Thanks for you support. I know we are dealing with different degrees of the same situation.
Is LLT worth trying?
8 weeks in the hair is thinner and the shedding is consistent at over 200 per day. I'm afraid of finasteride. Any advice? What's best case for diffuse thinning like this on finasteride and Rogaine? It's been less than 8 months.
You can transplant diffuse if a shitty unethical doctor is willing to do it. I'd not advise it with all of my heart. I hate that avatar. Can you transplant diffuse? My donor area has thinned a ton as well. I might restart oral minoxidil. I get sides on topical and oral Finasteride even at low dose (use .25% topical daily) and hardcore sides on topical Dutasteride.
does PTDBM or ZincThylium work at all?
I would have to see a picture and age to hazard a guess but I don't want to upset you any more than you are. Hair loss is miffing. This random baby with massive hair? Yes I see Konior and he said it would do more harm than good because of shock loss. He also advised me against micro needling. I’m still balancing sides and treatments. Oddly enough though my beard isn’t growing either. It thinned dramatically in the last 8 months. Shouldn’t my beard be getting thicker if androgens are the cause.
I take Wellbutrin and Trazodone so don't jinx me. Millions take both of them as one is a daytime med and the other is a nighttime anti-depressant. I took antibiotics too.on beard or the diffuse? I know a good portion of of my hairloss is medicine induced - thyroid, Wellbutrin, Trazodone, Antibiotics can all f*** hair and I’m on all of them.
Yeah I really believe the not needed thyroid medications started this cascade and I haven’t been able to recover. I’m on way too much sh*t but every time I trying ween of the consequences are awful. Like tried to stop Wellbutrin and deep depression, pushed away my girlfriend, ultimately lost her in the process and depression.I take Wellbutrin and Trazodone so don't jinx me. Same story here. And not just me, pretty much everyone echoes the sentiment of once having someone that they are no longer on par with and that can be devastating.Yeah I really believe the not needed thyroid medications started this cascade and I haven’t been able to recover. Yes 5-6 days a week. Run and weights. Stopped squats and deadlifts. But I still work heavy chest.do you still workout regularly?
I found out during my hair loss journey that working out was the only way to forget about the burden that losing hair is. Playing videogames may help too, although one would say both activities are coping. Anyway, we have to find what makes us feel better, therefore forgetting about this curse, even if momentarily. Keep up with the nice physique!Yes 5-6 days a week. Run and weights. Stopped squats and deadlifts. But I still work heavy chest.
