Testosterone cannot adequately oppose estrogen, so no, there is no balance there. 70% cut in DHT and a 30% rise in estrogen on average means you are now very estrogen dominant on a cellular level.
finasteride doesn't cause estrogen dominance that's just bro science lol, it's an oversimplification of the gyno problem.

In fact, I'd be willing to bet that if estrogen was the only hormone which stimulated breast development, rates of gyno on finasteride would be much much lower than what they actually are.

Lol of course it makes your estrogen dominate if you take fina, DHT is the most androgenic hormone and biggest "competitor" of estrogen in your body.

Just lol at fina copers.

Here's another fun fact:

Finasteride, sold under the brand names Proscar and Propecia among others, is a medication used to treat hair loss and benign prostatic hyperplasia in men.[6] It can also be used to treat excessive hair growth in women and as a part of hormone therapy for transgender women.[7][8] It is taken by mouth.[6]
First of all, im note even using fina at the moment so dont see how im coping

testosterone exists.... and estrogen increase is very minimal, my bloods show a 10% increase of estro on finas and they stayed in the low normal range. , all im saying is that chalking up gyno to "estrogen dominance" is an oversimplification of why gyno happens on finasteride. androgens inhibit breast growth whilst a wider range of hormones, like prolactin and progesterone as well as estrogens stimulate it. You dont need to be "estrogen dominant" to get gyno lol

UPDATE: I kinda forgot about the whole gyno thing and started to worry about more serious stuff (sever scalp acne f***) and I don't think I've gyno, I stopped monitoring or taking pictures, but I ocassionally see my nipples at different angles and I don't see a difference.

The funny thing is, even before starting finasteride, I felt really small lumps above the areola on both my nipples, but I felt it a bit bigger on my left one. This made me rub and press my left nipple non-stop to confirm what it was, and I always felt it was getting bigger and easier to find, but when I stopped doing it, the lump became smaller and harder to find. Then a week later I got itching in my right nipple (not severe or anything, just a scratch and it was gone) but it made me worried and I started doing the same thing I did with my left nipple (constantly rubbing, pinching and pressing it), and now I feel the lump in my right nipple to be bigger and easier to find than my left one, but before it was the other way around.

So yeah, to anyone who's worried about getting gyno, listen to @losingbattle88 if you don't feel itchiness or pain/tenderness, you're not getting gyno, and rubbing and pressing your breast will probably make whatever those lumps are bigger and make you worry more and make you think it's gyno developing.

UPDATE: Almost a year has passed, wow.

My tits look the same, I just stopped worrying about it and I didn't get any tingling or burning sensation (no symptoms), the size look the same too.

I do still feel lumps under my nipples, but I suspect I had those before starting as they feel the same as when I started finasteride. I think it's slight/mild gyno from teen years (f***). I guess I would still have to do surgery to remove them, but I'll wait to see how bad it looks at lower body %

No massive improvements on hair though, which makes me doubt if I ever had male pattern baldness, although I'm happy with maintaining my current hait. One thing I noticed is that I less hair fall out when brushing or showering. Although, the number of hairs falling out before weren't super extreme either.
