GP's still umming and ahhing about precribing me finasteride...

I went to my GP today really hoping for a precription for propecia however she's still reluctant to precribe coz I'm on other medication. She's going to get back to me. Should I wait and see or should I just start taking the stuff Ive got off the internet? Im just not sure if I can trust it. I saw a advert on TV the other day, some guy coughing up a rat, something about fake pills on the internet, and it scared me.

What do yoiu think?

The stuff Ive got is Finasteride tablets (Finpecia) 1mg. Says Cipla on the box. I got them from Hong Kong. Trust them?

Okay, so I saw my hairline retreating and I panicked. I've taken three tablets now (one a day for three days). I'm just wondering though...how can I tell if they are what they're supposed to be? Just wait for the side effects? So far nothing. How soon do the sides start?

ask your GP for a referral to a dermatologist, and get the script from the derm.

Some people report side effects on the 4th day, some report side effects on 10th months, some never do.
