I find it weird that it can go from 0.1% all the way up to 2.5% . Makes me a little bit hasitant to try my 1%. My doctor said 1% is like 0.5mg oral. What does that make 0.1% ?
I don't think it'll make a difference given Finasteride's flat dose response. I know I previously said Hasson and Wong's formula may be good but thinking back through it I think it's just a load of crap.

I mean, how hard is it to test the serum levels for 10 users before and after a month of use?

wait so if that is true then my 0.5% would be equal to 0.25 mg oral?
Women usually have to take up 5mg oral to get results.
Women do not get results at 1mg oral according to studies..they have to usually go up to 5 mg a day to get good results. They do not get sides like spironolactone (supposedly, but who knows).

Has anyone in the US managed to purchase it? Farmacia Parati told me last year I could order it but would need a prescription (which I haven't managed to talk any dermatologist into giving me).

One study for 1mg that did not have results in women and another years later with 5 mg and it had good results.
You can find the studies if you search for them there are a few studies I think at 5 mg.

https://www.goodrx.com/blog/finasteride-works-for-hair-loss-in-women/ talks about the comparison.

this study had positive results though and the dose is 1.25 but over 3 years for both pre and post menopausal women (it compares to dutasteride also both were good, good photos too in study.)

I have a prescription from Farmacia Parati to be signed by my doctor, but I'm not quite understanding how it's meant to be filled out. What is meant to go in these fields?

I want to order this, anybody get good results? Whats the lowest effective dose and what is the expiration date for each bottle? I emailed them and they told me the gel is a silicon liposomal gel is formulated for reduce sides.

I used a 0.1% liposomal solution from them and my hairs thickened up damn quickly. It was particularly evident on the temples.

In terms of sides I had nothing wrong below the waist. Felt a bit of pain in my nuts but that went away quickly and had no problems with getting a hard on, with semen consistency, etc.

But I had to stop due to gyno symptoms. I got to the point where I couldn't even sleep on my stomach, and it would get stupidly itchy whenever I used t-shirts with graphics on. I tried to ride it out but got two small beads behind both nipples. It all went away when I stopped it though, no need for any surgery or anything.
Do you think I should try a .05 topicial from them? I'm not worried about gyno but I really like that fact it worked for you. Did you try oral before? I heard they have a time release gel is that correct?

I'm not up to date with this stuff anymore so I'm not sure if they even produce the gel yet.

I haven't tried oral finasteride cause I'm not willing to mess with my hormones, it's why I decided to try this gel.

As for dosage, finasteride has a very steep dosage curve so chances are .05 will be as effective as 0.1. It's up to you to make an informed decision on finasteride and decide if it worth the risk. In my case I lost nothing, had sides but they weren't permanent and I now know I'm not compatible with finasteride.

What would be the equivalent of 1mg oral finasteride for the topical?

I would like to order this. I used 1mg oral finasteride for years with great success in the hair department but eventually got sides.

Any idea where to get a prescription. Haven't found one yet.

I use 0.1% which is equivalent to 1mg, the pharmacy I use in America give 10% discount to forum members when you buy 3 bottles.

The good part you can customise the mixture and I add anti androgens as well as anti inflammatory.

My mixture contains:

15% Minoxidil
5% Azelaic Acid
0.1% Finasteride
0.25% Progesterone
0.025% Tretinoin
0.1% Hydrocortisone
