Undercut, trim, and keep more up top. Assuming you are good up top. Otherwise, shave your head or buzz it.

Don't cut it then. Seriously, grow some balls, and grow your hair long.

If you want long hair, don't cut it.

This all depends on your type of baldness and how bad it is. At a certain stage (of hair loss) shaving is it the best option but if you have enough hair, leaving a bit of length on top can seriously help your cover up game. I do know that shaving or cutting it really short will show how bald you really are.
Don't be embarrassed to speak to the hairdresser first about your concerns. It's part of his job and a good hairdresser should be able to give you a cut that makes the most of what you have on your head rather then making you look worse. Hope it goes well!

got a conservative hair cut. getting thinner at the front though.
Hopefully finasteride starts working soon.

Good. Haircuts are important, more so when you start to lose your hair. A great hair cut can make you feel on top of the world but a bad one can completely spoil your day.

I got butchered the last time. Any shorter was a buzz cut. It was just before a date too. Go figure.

It went great. I was distraught about the cut, I almost cancelled it.

Much of this is in our head. Yes, certain haircuts, style, head shape suit a person better than the next one. Confidence, charm, charisma, enthusiasm goes a long way boys.
