its a cope maybe it kills hair a little faster, in that case just take some antioxidants man.
IGF-1 causes hair loss?
indirectly but i would say yesIGF-1 causes hair loss?
I agree with the "combat DHT part", but not so much with "even better if taking T blockers like CPA".it is not bad if one takes AA to combat DHT conversion and even better if taking T blockers like CPA.

I am on CPA and let me be clear, that CPA is NOT suitable for healthy young males with a healthy male sex life.
I'm cis-male, taking 50 mg CPA + dutasteride (recently it's CPA 25 mg with EE and dutasteride).hey ! Are you a male or a woman ? if you are a male, you are really taking cpa ? i thought cpa was like diane or diane 35 for women
What sides?I'm cis-male, taking 50 mg CPA + dutasteride (recently it's CPA 25 mg with EE and dutasteride).
Diane/Diane 35 is CPA + EE (EthinylEstradiol), a contraceptive pill for women, however, the CPA dose in Diane 35 is very low (2 mg). I am trying CPA after dutasteride gave me horrible upregulations of AR. So far, the sides are very real, but the results far outweights any negatives (at least, for me).
these cases are related to growth hormone deficiency or hypotrichosis, its not your common alopecia., but for those conditions seems to be effectiveOkay, so what's up with this?
"IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor 1) is well known as a hair growing substance. ... The growth factor is also produced in the hair follicle and promotes hair growth by proliferating keratinocytes, thereby improving alopecia. IGF-1 is decreased due to any reasons such as stress and aging, which induces hair loss."
and this:
"dermal papillary cells from balding scalp follicles were found to secrete significantly less IGF-1 than their counterparts from nonbalding scalp follicles"

Note that even if the case of increasing T, it is not bad if one takes AA to combat DHT conversion and even better if taking T blockers like CPA.

Igf-1 increases t conversion to dht
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/
High levels of igf-1 associated with vertex balding

and how can we reduce this igf-1 thing ?, first time i hear of it
