Could you imagine if bald people everywhere started taking this research and trials into their own hands? Could you imagine if a number of these trials ended in death? I can see the headlines...

Bald people dying for a cure! Maybe then the scientific community might feel indirectly responsible, resulting in them ramping up their studies/trials to literally prevent more lives from being lost. They may take this **** more seriously if the consequences were more dire.
