Hair loss ruining my physical health too

I am so sad that I have stopped eating with the same vigor. I lost almost 2kg in the last 6 weeks. My squat strength went down by 15kg and probably similar for the upper body too. I am just so miserable and everything, even eating to feed oneself or getting dressed in the morning, seems to take more effort than I want to give. The source of my misery comes down to hair loss. Keep in mind that a month or two ago I made a post on here about how I wanted to try shaving it, growing a beard and moving on. That hasn't happened.

I wish i can help you. But there's really no hope once you're bald. Nothing i say will ever matter

OP, if you don't mind sending me pictures of your hair, perhaps I can offer a surgeon to help. Even with DUPA, a skilled surgeon may be able to give you a decent hairline and greatly improve your confidence.

I've contacted over 10 clinics. Some of the most highly regarded surgeons because I saved up so that I can afford even a hair transplant in North America. But the best that I can get is to use my scalp and body donor but leave the crown bald. I'll send you photos but I don't know why I still have any hope. No sane person would.

He's posted his hair. Transplant is not an option. @doubleindemnity needs a high quality hair piece. They are pretty amazing these days

he wont do it. he rather choose misery. its indeed over for him. a wasted life

very sad indeed

I guess he’s anxious over the idea of people knowing/finding out that he’s wearing a system.
The thing is , life is short in the long run nobody will care

You can only remain in a state of learned helplessness for so long, it is a coping strategy with an expiration date. I am sorry you are going through this.

Do you know how long it lasts? It seems like myself and others such as @Feelsbadman have been going through it a long long time. To put it into perspective, we were making posts like this before the pandemic.

Your situation is quite different compared to @Feelsbadman. I obviously don’t know you guys personally but I think you are both totally different types of guys. The only common denominator is the pain of not having a partner and ineffective coping skills to deal with / change the situation.

These guys don't know how lucky they are to have a therapist online here who understands their situation better than most therapists. If only some would listen and apply it.

Even that isn't the worst case scenario. At least having a hairline + decent top coverage will get you out of the bald guy category, where it's no longer a factor when meeting someone.

What exactly are your real world approach percentages regarding women? I do not regard apps for anything so don't say I tried the apps and it didn't work out.

I agree with this. I'd rather have a buzz cut with a hairline and no / little hair in the back than have the horseshoe and slick bald. A hairline that shapes your face is a major importance for aesthetics. Without that or a very good head shape you make people feel uncomfortable addressing you because you look like a mutant.
