So I often wondered and hear alot of people wondering about hair shed....well I thought I'd try and understand it. As the consensus stands everybody sheds 50-100 hairs a day. I used to think this couldn't be true but let's say you have 150,000 hairs on your head. And the average span of telogen is 6 years....so divide that by 6 and you get 25000 hairs replaced a year. Now divide that by 365 days and you come up with 68.5 she'd hairs a day. So 50-100 should be about right give or take how many hairs you have. As long as they're regrowing you shed hairs shouldn't matter. Just my thoughts ... Feel free to chime in if you'd like .
