Get the surgery then, but I MOST IMPORTANTLY, don't go to one of these stupid clinics you're looking at and find a doctor recommendation from this forum. I suggest an FUT with someone like Rahal or Hasson + Wong. Along with that, you must get on finasteride. Also go for the largest FUT you can, at least 3500 grafts for a first surgery.
At this stage , I suggest using a Toppik type of fibre on your hair , you would be very surprised how thick your hair will look because of the texture of your hair .
Staying away from any type of hair drugs is ideal because it will only confuse the situation of what is really needed for your transplant in the long term.
If you decide on a hair transplant , you have to start somewhere and the quick it is done the better .
I would suggest having a high density hair transplant along the very front about 1 inch wide and about 1 inch wide on the crown to start with and if you brush your hair backwards and use a Toppik type product and Dermamatch as a base, your hair will appear very thick and not bald .
I know someone who has had a frontal hair transplant but is bald behind it yet people comment on how thick his hair is because the hair is kept long and brushed backwards with Toppik and a Dermamatch base being used and no one thinks he is bald at all .
So finally I had a hair transplant with 3000 grafts. Once scabs appeared, I washed my hair gently after loosening up the scabs with oil after 8 days. Now scalp is free from scabs. I lost only 5-7 hair with scab. Rest are growing, I think. Will I lose them? Or they will keep growing? How is transplant looking like?
