Started balding at 21, didn't pay any mind to it until I was 24. Had my first hair transplant of about 630 grafts in August, 2001..

Had my second hair transplant. 680 grafts, November, 2003.

I was ripped off both times, with rather poor results.

Just returned from my third and first real hair transplant mega session. 2360 grafts and scar revision, 11/12/2004.

These pictures are 18 weeks after my second procedure.

The following are just prior to my 3rd hair transplant!!

I'll may add more photo's as time progresses. Please ask if you have any questions.

And yup, I'm a very happy person right now.

Great to hear you are happy. That is, of course, the most important part. It definitely looks more painful than you say!!!

But seriously.. I can't believe it myself that I have zero discomfort!! Thanks for your concerns.

Looks like your head would make some great hamburgers.. ha.. Hope it works out for you. Is your head completely numb? It seems like a lot of nerves would be cut in that large of a procedure..

HairBeThere, boy oh boy that looks sore!!

hope you are healing up ok!

does he always have a photographer, or did you have a relative or someone in the clinic taking the pictures ?

I am not so sure I would want my procedure on display to the world

good luck

I am healing up fine. Thanks for the concern.

I ask him to take photo's so I can share my experiance. I don't mind putting them on the web obviously.
But, it is not his general practice to take these type of photo's unless you request. Also, any photo's taken prior to hair transplant, which you'll get with any doctor pre-op, can be requested as strictly private like medical records.

I think pretty much any doctor would do it, as long as it doesn't interfear with the procedure itself.

nah, guys.. he's proud of his work, but not that proud..

I took that with my own digital camera. Nice to know my $120 camera, takes as good as his $900!!
