If you go the transplant root, you most likely will need more than one surgery because the native hair will continue to bald even with finasteride most of the time. And than you have to worry about sufficient donor hair for continued surgeries. And the donor area is not al ways permanent. It can be prone to thinning as well. It's assumed that hair is dht resistant. But not in all cases

Yeah the world is full with model looking guys....99 % of all men are looking like amazing models and the most have Norwood 1 or 0. And you poor guy are the only guy without hairs....

Look at Wayne Rooney. Had a 30k transplant and he still continued to bald after that and needed another one. Any transplant surgeon would have you on finasteride after a transplant.

This is why I do not go the transplant route, because I get terrible side effects from finasteride.

Eh, I used to think along these lines, but even if meds stop working for me or if I develop unbearable sides and have to get off them, I'm still going down the transplant route.

This isn't an option for all, but with the right surgeons and donor capacity....

Worst case scenario: Get a nice hairline, max out the rest of the donor, spread out evenly over the scalp, throw some beard and body hair in for density if it comes to that. Even if you end up a bit thin on top, you can make it look like you're balding in a graceful manner, and probably still throw in some concealer if you want.

Best case scenario: Fix what's f*cked up with your donor. Better treatments come along as your balding progresses, fullhead to the death.

Unfortunately this probably won't work for people with DUPA or below average donor density

Having wore a wig i don't feel it's a viable option unless you are over a NW4.


To much maitenance? Worrying about women, fittings, getting the right color. The wig doesn't Hold color for sh*t. In 1 week my wig went from dark brown to light brown with blonde streaks. I barely went outside.


You will have to wear a hat during the day while outside to preserve color. Wig by night.

Those uv products are garbage.. don't work.


I lol at people tossing wig around like it's such an easy transition. Good look bedding women without worrying. News flash: they only look detectable. Its all smoke and mirrors
