Well, I guess this is a monumentous occasion since I have never posted my own personal hair loss photos before. So whoever is seeing this, consider yourselves lucky because I am extremely camera shy. :) I promised everyone the other day that I would take some pics of my "situation" and show a comparison between how my hair looks before being styled, and how it looks after styling.

HAIR STATUS: Fighting Diffuse Thinning throughout the Front 2-3 inches of hairline. Got on treatments immediately and have tried to maintain a previously SOLID hairline.

HERE IS HOW MY HAIRLINE USED TO LOOK WHEN WET - THIS PICTURE IS 4 YEARS AGO (below)

Here is how the hair looks after use of styling techniques, and a couple products suggested by my hair stylist. My hair stylist has shown me good ways to hide the thinning and how to use certain products to accomplish the goal. I hope you can see how much a certain cut, certain hair products, and certain coloring to the hair can really help disguise things. This is pretty much why I'm able to trick everyone into thinking I have zero hair loss problems.

One person said they could not see all 6 pictures. Cuts off at picture 2. Please let me know if this happens with any of you.

Your hairs looks really good when styled, hard to see any hairloss when its well styled. Any tips on styling?

I think though you should add 6-BAP that should get you to a norwood 0!

My hair is pretty diffuse too, espcially at the hairline area. Whats your regimen? I can see all 6 pics BTW.

Take a look again at the 4 year old picture up there. Compare it to the one right above it, which was tonight. You might be confusing the two.

Zimmy the poop talker from HLH! Welcome back  I hope we can be genuine friends one day, but anyways thank you for the compliments on *this* forum. :) Tips on styling? The thing that gives the illusion is the way the hair is cut and brushed. It lays on top of itself in layers, over and over ... which basically covers up the see-through spots. This gives the illusion of complete coverage when the hair is dry. He uses his own technique where he cuts a chunk of hair one length, then the next chunk of hair slightly different length, then zig zags this way throughout the whole top. This creates the effect.

The products he has me use are Tigi "Bed Head" "Power Trip" Styling Gel while the hair is still damp (silver cannister). Once it dries (or with the help of a blowdryer) he applies a thicker waxy material called "Wax Works" by Paul Mitchell (long white tube). This *totally* thickens the appearance of the hair by clumping it together. It also remains flexible throughout the day and doesn't harden so its great for restyling if need be, at any time.

Im surprised you're asking because I think my hairline looks like *** right now when not styled. Hardly something to emulate. If you look at the "4 yrs ago" picture, that's what Propecia helped me maintain for 3 years. The picture immediately above it is what has happened since I dropped Propecia a year and a half ago. Not fun. I've been using Topical spironolactone 5% and Revivogen but have skipped 4 / 5 months a couple times. Have not been religious about it. Now you see what happens when one drops Propecia....

Ive been busting your *** a bit I know, but I DO have a lot of respect for this site. `This` forum....i guess you saw `that` post on `another` site. Lol. It was my evil twin. Dont mind me I just like to rattle some cages sometimes. Keeps you on your toes. However I apologise for that post on HLH, it was unecessary.

To be totally honest with you ive been using Eil Crannel Alpha and it has helped my hairline quite a bit. Whereas minoxidil , propecia and spironolactone havent helped as much with my hairline as the rest of my hair. Maybe something to consider perchance.

Thanks for the styling tips.

Looks pretty good HairLossTalk.com. You had a strong hairline to begin with, so the little loss you have isn't all that noticeable.

I think the thinning in the middle is worse than the temples, but none of your loss is really all that bad. Most regular people wouldn't notice.
