I'm usually very supportive of these type of guys but after watching the video it's pretty clear that the dude being interviewed is in his early 20's, jobless and it appears living at home.

He may hate his existence but he is getting a free ride!
He is free to indulge his misery at his leasure.
Also he appears intelligent, well presented and had little trouble communicatiing with this woman doing the interview.
I've known people who could never maintain that level of eye contact and calm demeanour with a strange female (she was bangable too).

His parents really should consider asking him to leave home and become self reliant. It's amazing how fast something like this will change his priorities, and diminish his cartoonish worldview.

It's also possible that this story was part fabrication.

-feel respected by people in a non romantic setting
-work hard to be in good shape
-well groomed, well dressed and intelligent, with varied interests as far as time constraints allow

-ignored and despised by potential romantic interests

I doubt that a high percentage number a lot. I know a lot of men that are "incels". Well, not virgins anymore but they have barely any contact with women. Maybe once every 5 years and all refuse to lose weight or go for a hair transplant/fina or anything that could bump a bit their SMV.

What I observed is with incels and men that are depressed with their dating life is, that they only use Tinder or dating apps to meet women. That's it. That's their only source.

But surely there would have been a number of rejections after which you would have called yourself an incel? 3 is too little, but what if you had, say, 20 rejections in a row? That's what the proper incels (not the Reddit ones) go through.

First time I watched a video like this. I truly feel bad for this guy. You can tell even before he talks, he is socially alternative but that's still not an indication of illness. But then his eye movements, mannerisms and speech give it away that he has some serious mental problems. Someone left a comment saying asperger's and average looks leads to a struggle of a life or to that effect. Scrap that, mind is everything. Sadly, serious mental issues (genetic/trauma) leave someone without a soul and true identity. In some cases, something can be done to control it and get better.

@blackg it may be that there's not much this guy may be able to do about his personality in order to blend in sufficiently - this is how he is.

More cases like this will occur as genetic weaknesses (fragility, bdd, depression/anxiety, personality disorder e.t.c.) are exposed over viewing social media and the net in general. It usually occurs young which is why a leading prof said no kids in the UK under 11 should have a smartphone recently. I agree and I would do the same as a parent, although it depends on your family history/genetics and if they're a red flag.

Agree, his looks is completly irrelevant to his current state, but maneurism, insecurity, ex: wrapping like his entire arm in front of his mouth when he laugh, always looking away and so on...i'll state it again and oh boy believe me i'm no bully, but this dude in a classroom or a working place would be a total weirdo to the others, would be the main subject of laughs and jokes, and totally ridiculised, behind his back, or not, despite being "handsome ?" and almost fullhead.That's just the way it is, human nature at it's finest, attack the weakest prey.

This is so very strange to me. I could never imagine blaming my issues on a group of people or on "woman" in some generalized sense like these guys.

Seeing ability to attract a mate as some kind of sign of your social status seems like an over simplification to me.

Even though my Body Dysmorphia, and anxiety leave me housebound and unable to function, I don't blame my issues on anyone else. And just cause I don't meet society's standards doesn't mean I have to resent anyone for it. I think it's great for all the people who live their happy lives and never have to know about these type of struggles. Good for them.

Also As someone who cannot work due to mental and physical health issues I don't agree with the free ride thing some people are talking about. I think that if I didnt have people to support me and give me a place to live at this point in time I'd just be homeless. Wouldnt change the fact that I'm unable to work at the moment. I think that's just a big responsibility normal people worry about so it's an easy thing to point to, but when your physical and mental health are taken from you that becomes priority in your brain. I couldn't handle getting my health issues fixed and paying rent at the same time.

I do agree that these dudes don't have a good grasp on reality or what their issues are though. For real I've seen dudes that have all the looks get no chicks, and then dudes who are below average in great relationships with beautiful woman because they still know how to act, deal with their issues, and be a reliable partner.
