Has anyone been having a bad experience with MinoxidilMax' Essengen-5 lately?

Hello people,

after 2.5 years on topical minoxidil, I started having some cardiovascular side-effects, including a few rather nasty ones, around January.
I've been using EssenGen-5 from MinoxidilMax.

My guess is that... well, it's just the way it is, my body has developed a negative reaction to that stuff, but it took a while.

But still, it is slightly strange that this has happened 2.5 years in. So there's an off-chance that MinoxidilMax has made some sort of compounding mistake lately and is serving people higher concentrations of minoxidil or something. So if anyone else here has been having such problems with MinoxidilMax' products lately, that would be very interesting to hear...

But as said, I'm not counting on it.

Something similar happened to me with Kirkland Minoxidil around late 2023. I first noticed I was feeling tired in the morning, and needed to rest later. Then in 2024, I started waking up from time to time with a noticeable heartbeat. I emailed the manufacturer, but they claimed there was nothing out of the ordinary in the batch I was using.

Did your symptoms ever go away, or did you try a different batch of yours?

I tried the foam for a bit and it seemed to improve things, but I dislike the foam as it has never worked well for me.

I tried it and my scalp but it couldn’t tolerate it as its so i strong so i used it to try and grow a beard .I only had a few hairs on my chin seems to be a few more now so i will keep on with it rather than waste it.
My hair specialist said the tablets with separate lotion is still the best treatment and not the finasteride mixed in the solution.
