I must have typed the wrong thing I take 3g of Arginine but popular sites say to take up to 30g for growth hormone release. It should be 10G of Glutamine as stated on the side of the product that I use for weightlifting.

I have never heard anyone get any good gains from one gram of each Tynan. I used it myself with little results, you are better off to use Pro HGH. Recently I have read about the larger doses of Arginine and Glutamine and am intrigued. Frank Zane the bodybuilder and advocate for Glutamine used 2g for his dosage, but this seems to be old school. Studies are showing that more is better.

My bodybuilding regime:

10g Glutamine in Whey Isolate shake 1x
3g Arginine divided dosage 2x
Whey protein concentrate 2x day- 30g

true, I don't reccomend taking 1g, you are right your body would just pass it through (medical term: sh*t it out) that was just to illustrate that Glutamine is fairly potent at small doses.

Arginine/Orthinine/Lysine/Glycine/Tryptophan.. etc etc can be taken at higher doses safley are well tolerated and produce results that are dose dependent. But Glutamine above 2 grams tends to accelerate the livers removal of Glutamine from the blood. But maybe there is a way around this or some new research?

30g of Arginine is fine in my opinion, it's just the thought of sitting up with minoxidil on my hair waiting to dry, in my simpsonsâ„¢ boxers and a plate of 60 x 500mg Arginine capsules to be eaten. :freaked:

don't forget to take an antioxidant with your Arginie!!!
(don't ask me why, everyone quotes this including me, but ask around nobody knows why, L.E.F have it in their catalouge but emailing them revealed they don't know why either, if I find out I will tell ya'!)

You won't have to eat pills because we are talking bitter as sh*t powder my friend in the teaspon size. I am currently taking GL3 by AST research they recommend 2 teaspoons a serving which is ten grams.

I don't persay take that much arginine but the argument there is for Arginine- Alpha Ketogluterate where 3g is supposed to be the same as like 20g of regular arginine and they go on to describe in the literature the benefits of high doses along with the cost of doses in upwards of 15-30g. Wheres as it can be duplicated with 3g of A-AKG.
