Don't listen to him. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. How old are you, and what's your weight and height (kg/cm)?

I'm 27, 5 foot 8 and 130 pounds.

Since I have no bassline to compare to, I can't tell if finasteride. lowered my testosterone or not. I've been off of it for eight days now, and I feel mostly fine, probably because I've been worried about it less. Erections seem back to normal; I had wonderful sex last night.

I can't tell if my erections are still slightly softer or less frequent than they used to be, because again, I have no bassline to compare the erections to, either. I never thought about or paid much attention the strength of my erections before I started taking finasteride., so I'm sure they weren't rock hard all the time back then either. The biggest benefit I see of not taking finasteride. is not having to worry about all this; it's exhausting.

The sides will just get worse if you go back on it, even if it seems ok at first. .5mg is no different than 1 mg either.

It sounds like you're doing fine. Anyway, I suggest you wait 3 more weeks if you're thinking about treating with finasteride again. Give you hormone levels a chance to stabilize. Use it with zinc, as much as needed to maintain the testosterone/estrogen ratio.
