Has anyone actually tried self-administered subcut minoxidil sulfate ? Because give me it.

I know Swiss did at some point. He had results with it, but he quit cause self-injections are bothersome and when he found out that minoxidil kills collagen it was not an option for him anymore.

@Georgie

You need to JUMP up the Minoxidil percentage. Believe me, you will start seeing results.

Read the Hair Loss 2015 Congress page, it says it all.

People who don't respond well to regular dosages, generally will respond, once they hit
a certain Minoxidil percentage.

That said, for men (don't know about women), Minoxidil won't make permanent hair regrowth
changes, without taking something else.

Yeah, seems logical. Higher dose means more goes systemetically and finds places for sulfation

Once you quit minoxidil you are going to shed. Thats what we know. I wonder though happens to the follice, do we have data on that?
Kinda hard to believe it just dies if you got other means to keep it alive.

That being said, I personally do not think it is worth the trouble.
PGE2 has far more beneficial downstream metabolites. And if it is about injection, there are more interesting substances like FGF9.

Sadly I cannot up my oral dose even above 2.5mg because I have very bad water retention issues. I did try taking a small amount of spironolactone with it, but spironolactone makes me sick af. Kind of stuck at an impasse.
I have recently ordered some 10% topical stuff to see if it makes any difference.

Minoxidil does work for me, but in a really annoying way. As I said in the above post, I get fabulously abundant regrowth for like 3 months then for like 9-12 months it all begins to miniturise and fall out again. Thought maybe AA’s and 5AR’s would help but apparently not. I honestly can’t explain it, and I have no idea why it happens. Hair grow synchronisation perhaps? But then why would it grow back miniturised? Wouldn’t it just not grow back at all? It’s like there’s a switch inside my body that turns minoxidil on and off. God it’s depressing.

It happens to everybody, I think, with Minoxidil. The DHT takes over, unfortunately.

Yes. Dht seems to not want to f*** off in my case. I’m on dutasteride, darolutamide, Diane35, stemox and minoxidil and my dht levels have actually gone up.

Yeah, I dont doubt it is working but the issue is why do you wanna ruin your skin and possibly health?

Try sulfa, it is a shotgun approach and it was also trialed for Areata. I got my doubts that you got normal Androgenetic Alopecia, cause standard therapies seem not to stabilize you. Maybe get your testo checked, dutasteride boosts testo, so there is the chance you are testo sensitive in which case RU (I am not sure if Diane35 doesnt deal with that already) or Seti are an option (and possible switch to finasteride as you might not want the testo boost).

I’m worried about sulfa because i’m already immunosuppressed due to chronically elevated cortisol levels, and also the side effects. I’m planning on using VPA topically too, so my liver is going to take a beating as it is.

I did get my T checked. It has gone up a bit.
That didn’t surprise me. What did was the dht. Got it checked before then 2 months into avodart. Went from 0.40nml/l to 0.60nml/l. Reference range is 0.16-1nml/l.
If darolutamide doesn’t work for me I really doubt that RU will. I’m wondering if I shouldn’t start taking bical or flutamide orally.
Can’t afford Seti sadly. I’m pretty lost. People like to make fun of me for “over exaggerating”, but I’m a 24 year old with diffuse retrograde and female pattern loss with entire body hair thinning due to menopause, and nothing seems to stop it. It’s incredibly depressing.

Try Sulfa then, and dont do VPA? Just do LiCl+Wounding. I didnt do much reading on VPA but I dont see any advantages over LiCl, and prolonged wnt can turn against you.
If you get sick pause it. Just read up on it, it is actually pretty safe and ppl takes it for prolonged periods for rheumatoid arthritis etc. Just start with low dose as like 500mg once a day, and increase it slowly. Starting at 3g it might even affect testo temporarily, so there is that for men, but I wouldnt go that far, hope my Doctor gives it to me when he comes back from vaccaition.

Effect test by decrease? VPA outperformed LiCl for hair regrowth in studies which is why I opted for it.

Have you taken sulfa before or are you just about to start?

About to start after reading up on it.

Even then, LiCl is ultracheap and easy to get. Make sure not get soja flour.

Haircook cro,
i want to start with LiCl after microneedling.
this product is good? :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NC-4851-Li...662823?hash=item3f65ab4527:g:GR8AAOSw0vBUb8Mz

how i making it ready for uses?

thanks!

Yeah, I think most ppl are using this one from ebay anyways. You just want highest purity and then you are good to go.

Yeah, I guess so. Still mechanically it is pretty much the same, and in other studies was enough to repair teeth, so I guess I am happy with this cheap substance.

//Oh, yeah. Licl has a really short half time of four hours or so. So reapplying might just as well fix it.

Well, I wouldnt bother to get VPA from a chinese lab.

Maybe you could try to get it from a Doctor, and resolve the tabs.

Otherwise as I said, just reapply LiCl. The study above was anyways just to prove that VPA works the other way around topically.

I think that seems to be true for licl as well, ppl back in the days would put it into dmso and even into their shampoo.
With the low molecular weight of LiCl it would equal taking it orally, leading also to systemetical accumulation etc.
And yes, oral lithium is also know for hair loss as it can induce hypothyroidism.

So either way, take pause days from VPA and LiCl.

Minoxidil Sulfate is 14x more efficient than normal minoxidil.
But you need to make it everyday.
Never surpass 30%.

Yeah the issue is where to get legit stuff, and even if you use dmso as a vehicle, whether it’s stable after mixing
