My eurologist came to the conclusion that my testicle pain was caused by infection that was never cleared up by the 2 week doses of prescription my primary care provider was giving me. I was then put on cipro for 4 weeks 2x a day. All problems ended after that. Finasteride and Dutasteride may cause testicular ache/pain but not imflamation or swelling. Imflamation and swelling is signs of infection. See your doctor and explain your situation.
