Isn’t dht the most detrimental one that flame throwers your hair follicles though?
Pretty much.

DHT is 130× stronger than T.

Tho 10% of the T gets converted to DHT and the rest 90% of T damages still the follicle as well...

And you adress only 50-70% of DHT with finasteride.

Not talking about the remaining androgens.

Yeah. You can't go by this type of pic at your age and stage. You want to check old pics for hair quality diminution. What this means is that for many of us the first sign is not loss, but increasing frizziness and an increase in the mullet effect which you might have.
What does that mean? are saying thinning hair is hard to control?

Androgenetic Alopecia isn't caused only by DHT. It's caused by Androgens.
You can have low DHT and low T and still go bald. There are even more androgens then only these 2.
Do diffuse thinners usually have hair shedding. As in, anyone who goes bald usually will shed right? Can naturally thin hair be mistaken for thinning

Can you shed some light on this? No pun intended.

As can be seen from the summary of scalp abnormalities, the most common manifestation to hair emerged from an unhealthy scalp is an altered cuticle with evidence of surface pitting, roughness, cuticle rigidity, or breakage. In some cases, the impact is manifested as shine reduction. In addition to the physical changes, there are biochemical alterations observed in hair emerged from an unhealthy scalp, with both protein and lipid components affected, most commonly by oxidative damage.[17,61,66,67]

Finally, a number of observations have found that premature hair loss may be caused by the poor scalp health associated with either dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis,[62,63,64] or psoriasis,[68,69] indicating that the effect on the preemergent hair fiber may alter the anchoring force of the fiber with the follicle, as evidenced by an increased proportion both of catagen and telogen,[74,75] and of dysplastic anagen hairs (anagen hairs devoid of hair root sheaths)[75,76] in the trichogram (hair pluck).

Can you please not post paragraphs, thank you
