Statistically, you are more likely not to get any sides than get sides.

I'd say, if you are sure finasteride is what you need, then try it for yourself.

So guys any more opinions on whether should i use .5 mg or 1 mg...I know that this has been a long debate ...i just want a few logical opinions, decide and get on with it and i reaaly hope i dnt get the sides because this is the last hope for me as other products mentioned on this website are not available in my country (only finasteride and minoxidil) so......

Thnx for reading my post in advance

Looking forward for your advice

Finestride and minoxidil are the only two treatments proven to work for hairloss. Lots of people in the forum use supplements, including myself, but if you have a balanced diet, you don't actually need them. I generally tend to pay attention to what I eat, and if I have a very rich meal with side salad and stuff, I don't use any supplements. However, there are days that I eat whatever I can, so I end up using supplements to ensure I get all the minerals I need.

There are other experimental treatments that have not past a peer review process and can not claim to be an efficient treatment for hairloss. Basically, the posters in the forum are human guinea pigs for those experiments (no offense intended). If you don't know what you are doing and don't have aggressive balding, stay away from the experimental stuff.

PS: It's obvious that you've done your research. You might have read that finestride sides are supposed to subside with time. If you have any adverse reactions to the drug, quit immediately.

your best bet is to use propecia & minoxidil asap. if you start encountering unpleasant side effects you can always quit.
