THC:
A couple of studies – such as this one and this one – have suggested that cannabis use lowers levels of testosterone. Other studies, though, suggest it has no effect- such as this one.
This is study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6249575 - have suggested that delta 9-THC, and CBN inhibit specific binding of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to the androgen receptor.
Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago report that low levels THC, does reduce stress - http://www.drugandalcoholdependence.com/article/S0376-8716(17)30220-X/pdf - The stress can cause hair loss. Of course, genetic factors play a significant role in most types of hair loss, but environmental factors can certainly exacerbate or reduce it.
CBD:
This one, which looks at the effect of cannabinoid on inflammation specifically:
It is reduce inflammation in the scalp and throughout the body. Inflammation and fibrosis are linked with pattern hair loss. AND CBD maybe is PGD2 blokker and increases endogenous PGE2 production (???).. I don't understand this >> http://mct.aacrjournals.org/content/12/1/69 - somebody help me
Hempseed oil:
According to a study conducted in Finland, hemp seed oil helps alleviate dermatitis, an inflammation of the skin. This is due to the balance of omega-6 and omega- 3 fatty acids. The study was carried out in 2005 by researcher J. Callaway and published in the 2005 "Journal of Dermatological Treatment." Callaway found that symptoms of skin dryness and itching significantly improved in dermatitis sufferers after using hemp seed oil for 20 weeks. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16019622

This one, which looks at the effect of cannabinoid on inflammation specifically:
Cannabinoids are potent anti-inflammatory agents and they exert their effects through induction of apoptosis, inhibition of cell proliferation, suppression of cytokine production and induction of T-regulatory cells (Tregs).
