You're not Norwood 2.5 no way. It's 2 max.
Oh, he showed you his too? Darn, I thought I was the only one he trusted.:D @michel sapin, why don't you show your hair now and have your face cut out. If you want my help, I will help you.

yeah, where can i source finasteride from? they sell sh*t generic version of finasteride in my country made in turkey, also i need prescription, which i dont have. and what doses ud advice to start off? hormones bloodwork prior to make sure indicators are right?

exactly, its already too far to have normal hair cuts and rest of my facial harmony is pretty sh*t, therefore balding is a killer for me at this point.

well i think most people get theres from inhouse pharmacy, or they get a real prescription.
in my country you don't need to see a doctor, you can go to Boots the Chemist and the pharmacist there can prescribe finasteride if you fill out a form. nowadays you can even get v**** the same way, in the pharmacy (so that people don't clog up GP resources)
i myself get meds from the dark web illegally, so with my spare bitcoin that is where i get my finasteride of course i don't recommend getting finasteride this way, accessing the dark web etc can be against the law. it is just the way i have always gotten it.
blood works etc if it makes you feel better, get them. i never bothered with all that. my GP doesn't know i am on finasteride. finasteride has never given me any sides but i am on a lot more serious meds than finasteride (such as gabapentin), those meds have serious sides so for me finasteride sides are mickey mouse.

@JohnsonDDG did not do it maliciously. He thought the photos were already posted publicly and he never was instructed in the PM never to show it to anyone as far as I remember. I think if someone tells you in the PM not to show it to anyone and you do, that would be malicious and betraying trust.

I feel truly sad for people here with thick mature hair not even close to Norwood 3, spending hours and hours on this site. Thats beyond sad.

You're 1.5 - remember we swapped pics. We have the same hairline more or less!
wait, what? @michel sapin told me he's nw3

@michel sapin, you actually have better hair than this guy. @davesmith420, I have finally seen @michel sapin hair and its only a NW2 at the most and great density. Don't worry @michel sapin, I am not going to show anyone your photos but I think people need to know you are only a NW2. And my hair loss is similar to yours although you can't see it since you have BDD too.

on my good side . don't have the ball to post the worst one
this sh*t is pretty depressing, ngl

is this a hair loss forum or BDD forum? everybody is f*****g nw1 with full density talking sh*t. f*** sake

i feel even worse now. fml

I can assure you, at the moment you have a NW2 but @michel sapin seems to have slightly more density. There are plenty of posters here who have more hair loss than you do. This forum does have a lot of posters suffering from anxiety, depression,BDD, OCD, low self esteem, and insecurity.

We do have more traffic than ever of guys who are panicking when they are transitioning from their juvenile hairline to a mature hairline which basically happens to the majority of the population. This sudden traffic is due to explosion of social media on perfectionism. Never in my whole life have I seen so many people take so many selfies and post them for the whole word to see. I don't participate in social media nor will I ever. I am way too private for that. Ironically, being on this forum is out of my norm.

Your generation has it tough as you have to have a perfect body, perfect hair, perfect skin, and top model looks to just to feel secure about yourself. That's almost impossible to accomplish and maintain your whole life. Yes, we have our unicorns but you don't realize that these people with top tier genetics are not immune to depression, anxiety, OCD, BDD, bipolar etc. I have seen many male and females who would be considered 9 or 10s suffering from some sort of depression, anxiety, OCD and bipolar disorder. In my mind, I am thinking these people have the looks so how can they be depressed. I don't understand it. What I finally realized that many people have addictions due to poor parenting, bullying, and a terrible childhood. And alot of these past problems along with their genetic makeup can trigger the disease in so many people. As we have learned, genetics is almost impossible to fight and reverse.

So @michel sapin participates in Aromatase Inhibitors discussions and is...

What to say... he must really dread hair loss

Yes, when you have BDD, a NW2 can look like a death sentence until you open up your eyes and realize how crazy you are when you see people who have NW4s and higher are the true reality of having it bad especially when it happens at a very young age. You learn to appreciate your situation very fast. Hopefully @michel sapin will become aware of that.

why did u drop finasteride?
1. Based on my derm’s pictures, it did nothing for me in the last 18 months. Not maintenance, not nothing, despite DHT going down.
2. My semen was super watery. And, in fact, Sperms were fewer than normal although my partner and I were trying to procreate.
Of course, YMMV if you especially if you are young.

Every further week that passes without you starting to use finasteride results in completely unnecessary loss of more hair. Don't be afraid of sides the chances are way too slim to not try it out, while the chances of you balding further and further without finasteride are 100%. And we all know that the "sides" of being bald are way worse than potential finasteride sides if you're not model tier looking. I'm now almost 4 weeks on dutasteride with zero sides (20 years old), imo being extremely afraid of sides correlates with actually getting sides, so just start finasteride and be happy that your hair will probably be fine.
where do u buy ur finasteride?

just trying to find the right regimen .
I don't wan't to go on the full " transgender route " which is madness for me
But As a finasteride " non responder " , i am afraid to end up like roberto and reaching the high stage of the Norwood scale
My last limit is duta , but i have to control the E2 .
And the combo duta / arimidex was the only option that i could see . Even if i perfectly know that it is kinda crazy to take a drug to prevent the side of the other ; and that AI have their own side on the long run .

btw ; i just took a blood test yesterday ; and with arimide adjusted propely i dropped my E2 from 40 pg /ml to 15 pg / ml . ( while on duta twice a week )

I am a 100% convinced that only fina / duta can cause the famous " miniaturization reversal " . Minoxidil is just a trick
we have seen case such as nickyposs , N003 , etc ... recovered their whole hairline
I wish i could get those result .
And after 4 years on fina and 2 years on minoxidil i need to explore other solution .

honestly my issue is not at all shedding . Since i am on mino i shed really few hair ( all hair are cycled in anagen ) , but the issue is that the miniaturization keep progressing ! mino just tricks your hair . and the genetic is stronger . Shedding for me doesnt mean male pattern baldness .
