As I mentioned I'll be starting finasteride today. Is there an ideal time to take it?

Just a quick update, so been on finasteride for over two weeks. I tried taking it everyday and whilst I didn't notice anything different I do think my libido dropped a bit so I started taking it every other day and all seems fine now. I'm also on Rogaine for about 3 weeks. Not notice much happening and I think I am shedding more heair though difficult to tell as its shaven all over.
One thing I have noticed is I get a bit of a chronic cough. Has anyone ever read getting a bad cough after finasteride or Rogaine?
