Seriously guys nothing is coming out this year or 2018 by the looks of things. I guarantee tsuji won't be on time either. This industry does not care about hair loss as much as we would like. When was last time we got concrete good news about a new product ? Seriously Gona try minoxidil than maybe transplant. This forum is bad for my mood with all the disappointments.

Do you think the delay is because they don't care?

Of course not man. Its just companies don't fund research for this ailment enough. Its not a top priority for most companies.

yea sometimes i do feel the same.
we shud be glad that we have hair transplant available to the common public these days.
just start earning a lot and save up for a good transplant ( do a lot of research abt surgeons and that's all end of line).
i am done with this waiting game. if anything is released then i will hop onto it or else transplant.
sometimes i feel like i am wasting a lot of time in this forum.
no matter what we do or post and how much we sympathize and argue with each other, we always get back to square one.
it's better to follow Follicle thought and hairlosscure at the end of every month where they summarize all the news in a nutshell.
they kind of follow our forum.

Yeah, I do however strongly believe that around 2018-2019 some treatments will start to become available, a lot of release dates are closely packed together, I guess/hope.

Can you guys just wait for official information? Maybe the rep meant 2019 in the US. From what I recall Histogen said not so long ago to their investors that Mexico is still late 2017 or early 2018.

And how do you intend to maintain? Even with finasteride, there's no guarantee you won't develop sides later on and have to drop it.
Not to mention getting a transplant means cheating yourself out of better density once new treatments are released.

It's not just a simple matter of bridging the gap if they really are that final. Of course they're preferable to a bald head right now but today's hair transplants may well be tomorrow's baldness.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Despite the dozens of failed treatments out there, something is bound to succeed.

You know the saying (which is quite ironic in this case) : 'If you hang around the barbershop long enough, you're bound to get a haircut' .

So guess eventually a treatment will succeed.

Given, based on their previous official statements, histogen is the earliest-to-be-offered upcoming treatment, contact from a mod/admin with them would potentially be very helpful.

I agree 100% with this statement. They're in phase III right now.

Histogen's biggest problem is that the results are temporary. Only the very rich would consider a series of injections that only last a single anagen cycles. The results would have to be exceptional to justify spending so much on a treatment that may only last 2 years.
The question is though, with the use of DHT blockers, could the HSC promote growth beyond that cycle? If The results could persist for a few growth cycles then maybe it would be worthwhile

Not only that, but they're getting them approved for females only.

It's probably much better than PRP therapy, but the results only last 2 - 5 years. Gail even mentions that
herself.

It probably won't do much to fight DHT hair loss.

Sure he does - That Guy and some dude's wife said so. 2018 here we come lol.

BTW, Histogen now says it's preparing to go public.

17 years of these forums and being an old bald guy has clearly taken its toll on you.

Sorry mnpanju, or Peekachoo, whatever your real Pokeman name is!

But I'm older than dirt. I'm so old. It's amazing I can walk, let alone still
produce children, at my age.

Don't take it so seriously.

I've decided to take a new stance on any of these upcoming treatments.
From now on I'm not getting my hopes up on anything until these companies release an actual product name and not just a working name (ex. HSC, RCH-01, SM, BRONTZU, CB-03-01...)
Sadly Follicas RAIN system is as close as we've got to an actual product name and that's still years away.
These release timelines mean nothing anymore without an official name

You have Winlevi and Breezula for CB.

What does that even mean.

Female only? For real?

Source?
