Now i dont usually like to get emotional or childish but I would like to see this patent guy and his lawyer shot.

If scientists cant come up with a cure then OK.

But if they are almost there and some money-thirsty gay dumbfucks stop them then...seriously lets gather money to hire an assasin.

I still firmly believe that in 20 years max, baldness will be gone, for those who want/can afford to pay for the treatment (whatever that is).
Think about it.
If you could turn an NW7 into Elvis, without surgery or daily drugs... you'd be Bill Gates/Warren Buffet rich. Easily.
As I've said before, it's a market that will continue to expand until gene therapy comes along (who knows when that will be) and doctors can just shut the baldness gene off... hence no need for treatment. In the meantime, who ever gets their first is going to make a huge pile of cash.

Isn't it interesting that whoever filed a lawsuit did only a day after Histogen came out with their results. greedy bastards!

... what a Sh****y luck !! Can't believe it.

And OF COURSE all of you here are still NOT ready to donate some money / form some fund to finance the scientists and help them out under these tough circumstances. Patents sometime can hurt the economy and the consumer, but not the greedy lawyers.

you can refer to my earlier post - this forum alone has the potential to support Histogen - but not one cares...enough.

cant someone contact them ?
so they open a account where everyone send some cash 2 ?

i would pay 100 euro to them if it would safe the research ....

calculate if everyone give 100 euro , say like 1000 people all together...

100 x 1000 = 100.000 euro , but still would not be enough i think ?

and not everybody wants to risk some cash to a firm that could go down ?

better the firm itself opens a bankaccount for this... so no other scammer runs away with the money...

is there no rich investors that would take the risk ?
the lawsuit is gonna kill this product/firm...

Oh great, another disappointing treatment news and also I have to see homophobic BS as well to go along with it.

Remember that this case is going to court. The company that are going to court maybe dont have a case.

If the company that are going to court win, they are probably are going to go forward with the research or let histogen go forward with the research but demand %. Remember, if the products is good, the companies will probably fight for the patent.

In the meantime, most of the laid-off employees are continuing to work without receiving pay, at least not right away.

"Basically we have 19 to 20 people working as if nothing happened because they believe in the product and the company. They don't want to shut down the experiments they are running," Naughton said yesterday. "Obviously they cannot do this a long time. It's a short-term situation."

probably desperate baldies.

Histogen Aesthetics Launches ReGenica Rejuvenation System
http://www.emediawire.com/releases/ReGenica/HistogenAesthetics/prweb2361184.htm
27 Apr 09

Natural embryonic-like human proteins stimulate skin cells to combat aging and help support healing In addition, they have the added benefit of minimizing the risks associated with allergic responses from using animal products.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 27, 2009 -- Histogen Aesthetics, a division of Histogen focused on providing unique, clinically proven, human skin cell-derived products for aesthetics medicine, today announced the launch of the ReGenicaâ„¢ Rejuvenation System for anti-aging and post-resurfacing.

ReGenica Rejuvenation System
Histogen Aesthetics utilizes a proprietary manufacturing process in which newborn dermal fibroblast cells are grown on beads in controlled bioreactors that maintain an embryonic-like environment, including low oxygen and low gravity conditions. During this process, the cells secrete growth factors such as Keratinocyte Growth Factor and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, and soluble extracellular matrix proteins such as collagens, laminin and decorin, which are associated with skin renewal and scarless healing. In addition, factors associated with scarring, such as TGFbeta, are decreased or nonexistent.

The resulting product is ReGenica, a complex made up of the naturally produced cell signaling materials and embryonic-like proteins which support the epidermal stem cells that renew skin throughout life.

Through Histogen's unique and proprietary technology process, Histogen Aesthetics is able to produce a skincare system that differentiates itself from other growth factor-containing skin products on the market. ReGenica:

does not contain any plant-derived growth factors or phytoestrogens which can be subject to seasonal variability and pesticide contamination
does not contain genetically-engineered growth factors (recombinant proteins)
does not contain fetal bovine or other animal serum, so no animal hormones are present

"Our patients undergoing cosmetics procedures are very interested in minimizing their downtime as well as minimizing their risk, and I believe the Histogen formulations do both," said Dr. Garth Fisher, renowned plastic surgeon and primary investigator on the first ReGenica post-resurfacing clinical study. "In addition, they have the added benefit of minimizing the risks associated with allergic responses from using animal products."

The ReGenica products are formulated based upon the results of randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies, in which independent dermatologists both collected and blind-reviewed the data. In addition to before and after photographs, assessment of product efficacy was determined by instrumental assessment of transepidermal water loss (TEWL), viscoelasticity measurements and three dimensional image analysis of silicon replicas.

"As a participant in a ReGenica clinical study, I was impressed to see the rigorous and controlled trial process Histogen Aesthetics' products undergo," said Stephanie Parker, a patient in the ReGenica post-resurfacing clinical study. "I feel comfortable in knowing that any products released by the Company have been tested and proven safe and effective, and am excited that the anti-aging and post-resurfacing products will now be available. ReGenica products aren't just making claims - I saw real results."

Initial product launches in the ReGenica rejuvenation system include the ReGenica Facial Rejuvenation Complex for post-resurfacing, ReGenica Advanced Rejuvenation Day Repair with sunscreen and ReGenica Advanced Rejuvenation Overnight Repair. The system is now available at special introductory pricing through dermatologists, plastic surgeons and other aesthetic medicine professionals, and can also be purchased online through http://www.histogenaesthetics.com.

From this process, Histogen Aesthetics extracts ReGenicaâ„¢, a unique complex containing naturally secreted growth factors and other synergistic bio-products. The real Regenica hair treatment is in trials and not expected to come out until 2015.

This is their new cosmetics range which "come from the same process," (as the Regenica hair treatment) as confirmed by Regenica themselves (see earlier in this thread). Obviously, they don't recommend it to treat hairloss and the concentrations/formula may differ slightly but hey, rather than wait 6 years for the "real Regegica" to come out then why not try one or more of these, combined with a Dermaroller, to see if anything happens ?

Did you even read the announcement above ?

It was only launched 2 days ago.

But hell yeah, if they ain't grown hair like teen wolf in these 2 days then your right, its a waste of money. No hair in 2 days. Must be a scam.

Seriously though Clayshaw, Regenica have already said that this is NOT designed to be used to treat hairloss. They are making absolutely NO claims whatsoever that it might even help in any way. ABSOLUTELY NONE. Its merely a supposition from me (nobody else) that it *MIGHT* be worth giving it a go as we have to wait until 2015 for the real thing to arrive.

The new skincare range is NOT mean't to treat hairloss at all. So nobody should be buying it EXPECTING results. Its nothing more than a gamble that it might help.

I'm not saying its a scam at all. I just mean that if their skin care product grew hair, then the people using it for their skin would have unwanted results.
The teen wolf thing was a joke. I don't think they'd grow that much hair.
I don't think Regenica is a scam at all. If you guys try it, more power to you and I hope it works wonders for you. I'm just saying I'd believe the company when they say its not intended for use for hair, thats all.
